WEEK 15
It was another eventful week in the Premier League as Man Utd beat Arsenal 3-1 in what many are calling the game of the season. Liverpool made another statement by smashing five at Brighton. Man City left it late to beat West Ham. There were also wins for Stoke. Chelsea. Leicester and Everton with 3 draws. In the ITYIFL Joe Hilditch made a statement of his own to open up a massive 92 point lead at the top of the table. With a phenomenal 97 points, making him this weeks highest scorer and breaking the ITYIFL weekly points total record, previously held by Tommy Warner. Doing the business after playing his wildcard to great effect, was captain Hazard (30). Firmino (13). Morata (8). Coutinho (18) Salah (5). Ramsey (6). Otamendi (11).
Moving up to second with a modest 40 points is Kool FM’s Pressure X. Thanks to captain Salah (10) Morata and De Gea (8). Also moving up, into third is Mr Paul Jarvis. Also thanks to captain Salah. Rooney (5). Eriksen (8) Ramsey. Morgan (7) and Foster (6).
Completing the Champions League places but down two places comes Timothy Stigwood. Whose only real contributions came from Salah and captain Aguero (4). In fifth place, but on the same points is Mr Ever-Present Jeff Franklin. Who can thank captain Morata (16) Ramsey. Salah. Simpson (6) and Foster for a decent 49 points.
Maintaining his position in sixth is Greg C. With contributions from Morata. Salah and Gray (8). Moving up into seventh is my right hand man Tyrone Brown, with a tally of 42 points. Thanks mainly to captain Salah. Murray (6) and Maguire (8).
In eighth comes Issa Banka. Whose only real points came from captain Eriksen (16) and De Gea. Moving up to ninth is yours truly, with a very decent 87 points total. Moving up 10 places made me this weeks highest mover. I can thank the likes of captain Murray (12) Morata. Hazard (15) Shaqiri (8) Salah. Otamendi. Hegazi (7). Martina (6) and De Gea.
Down three places but making up the top ten is last years runner-up. Emmanuel Ogana. Whose only real contribution of points came from Morata and Salah. It’s full steam ahead to week 16 y’all, as we are fast approaching the busy Christmas period…..
