PLAYER NO90
Name: Robert Olsen
Original Team: FC Copenhagen (Denmark)
Best Position: Goalkeeper
Best Attribute: Jumping Reach / Aerial Reach / Reflexes
Bio: This is one for all the managers who are at lower to mid-tier teams. Who need an experienced, consistent and competent keeper to be stable for a few years, while you try to build a team and progress up the leagues, or try to break into the top-tier.
He is a good shot stopper, you will never see him get beaten by screamers, as he seems to have cat-like reflexes that can get him up into the corners.
He’s also very comfortable with the ball at his feet and can kick with both left or right, which is a plus. He’s a strong Swede who is also very commanding in the area.
The only criticism I will say is knowing when to come off his line and when to stay. But that’s something that can be worked out with specific training.
As I said, he will give you great stability while you try to build a stronger team and it will be a position you will not have to worry about for a long time.
When the games starts he would have just been purchased on a permanent basis by Copenhagen, but I feel a bid around £3m will be enough to prize him away.
