I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON FIVE
WEEK 13
This week in the Premier League. Chelsea beat Spurs in the London derby at Wembley 3-1. Man City brushed aside West Ham away 4-0. As did Liverpool at Watford with three goals in the second half to win 3-0. Fulham beat Southampton in a thrilling 3-2 win. Huddersfield stunned Wolves to win away 2-0. Arsenal beat Bournemouth away 2-1 as did Newcastle at Burnley by the same score. Everton beat Cardiff at home 1-0. Leicester came from a man and a goal down to draw with Brighton away 1-1. Also, Man Utd and Palace played out a drab 0-0 draw.
In the ITYIFL. Halifa S S remains on top of the league, but by a very slender two point margin. Thanks to a decent 48 points in a fairly low scoring week. This was contributed by the likes of captain Salah (16) Alexander-Arnold (14) and Laporte (6).
My Arsenal mate Mr James closes the gap in second with an impressive 54 point week. Thanks to captain Salah (16) Sterling (16) and Robertson (7). Ahm Charles Denton moves up into third place, with an equally impressive 52 point week. Doing the business were captain Aguero (4) Salah (8) Alexander- Arnold (14) Laporte (6) and Ederson (6).
Yours Truly drops down to fourth place. Due to a disappointing 38 point week, which was largely down to a nightmare of forgetting to save my team, leaving Alexander-Arnold and fourteen points on the bench. Let that be a lesson to you all. Nevertheless, my contributors came from captain Richarlison (6) Salah (8) Walcott (6) and Digne (6).
In fifth place is newcomer Simon Sebhat with a decent 52 point week. This was due to points from Firmino (12) Mane (9) Robertson (7) Walker (6) and Ederson (6). In sixth is my Spurs mate Keith Wilson with a weekly score of 40 points. With points contributions from captain Aguero (14) Mitrovic (13) Robertson (7) and Ederson (6).
In seventh is last years runner-up Greg C. With a decent 52 points. Thanks to the likes of captain Aguero (4) Murray (8) Salah (9) Mane (8) Robertson (7) and Walker (6). Up into eighth place, from fourteenth, with a superb weekly score of 62 points, making him this weeks joint Highest Mover is my oldest son Romario Martin. Who can thank the likes of captain Kane (12) Firmino (12) Eriksen (11) Mane (9) Van Aanholt (6) and Ederson (6).
Also up into ninth. However, surprisingly, due to a meagre 39 points is Owen Barnes. Whose only real contributors came from Firmino (12) Robertson (7) and Ederson (6). Just holding onto tenth place, by five points is Lee Barratt with a weekly score of 36. Whose points came mainly from captain Aguero (4) Mane (9) Laporte (6) and Ederson (6).
This weeks Highest Scorer was Nordin Gharib with, given the circumstances, an amazing 74 point week. Thanks to captain Sterling (32) Mitrovic (13) Robertson (7) and Keane (8). This weeks other joint Highest Mover was Timothy Stigwood. Who moves up four places from 19th to 15th, with a weekly score of 61 points. This was due to captain Salah (16). Firmino (12) Mane (9) Schindler (8) and Pickford (6).
