SEASON FIVE

WEEK 17

This week in the Premier League. Liverpool dominated Man Utd in a 3-1 home win. Southampton snapped Arsenal’s 22 game winning streak, with a thrilling 3-2 home win. Watford beat Cardiff by the same score in a game with some superb goals. Man City beat Everton 3-1 at home. Wolves beat Bournemouth 2-0 at home. West Ham beat Fulham 2-0 away. Chelsea beat Brighton 2-1 away. Palace beat Leicester 1-0 at home. Newcastle beat Huddersfield 1-0 away and Spurs left it very late to beat unlucky Burnley 1-0 at Wembley.

In the ITYFL. In a relatively low scoring week. My Arsenal mate Mr James extended his lead at the top with a modest but given the circumstances, decent 47 point week. This was thanks to contributions from captain Kane (10) Chicharito (5) Sterling (6) Filipe Anderson (6) Wan-Bissaka (6) and Doherty (6)

Halifa S S remains in second, losing ground slightly, due to a weekly score of 43, where points came mainly from captain Sterling (12) Filipe Anderson (6) Wan Bissaka (6) and Doherty (6). Ahm Charles Denton remains in third, but due to a disappointing weekly score of 31 points, lost ground on the top two and now closer to fourth. With only Sterling (6) and Balbuena (6) providing any significant points.

Newcomer Simon Sebhat moves up into the Champions League places with a very respectable weekly score of 57 points. This was thanks to captain Hazard (26) Sane (10) and Kelly (7). Yours Truly moves down into fifth place, due to a weekly score of 48 points. Following contributions from captain Kane (10) Sterling (6) Doherty (6) and Fabianski (9).

My Spurs mate Keith Wilson remains in sixth place, with a weekly score of 42 points. Where his only real contributor came from captain Hazard (26). Hot on his heels is last season’s runner up Greg C, thanks to a decent weekly score of 52 points. due to points from, in Aguero’s absence. Vice captain Milivojevic (22) Jimenez (9) and Boly (6).

Storming up into eighth place, from eleventh, making him this weeks Highest Mover, is my youngest son and the ITYIFL champion two season’s ago, Latrell Miles. With a superb weekly score of 69 points, which also made him this weeks Highest Scorer. Doing the business was captain Hazard (26) Jimenez (9) Snodgrass (11) Pedro (9) and Lloris (6). Down into ninth is (I call him Bryan Robson) Ibrahim Gullu due to a weekly score of 45 points. Thanks to captain Kane (10) Rondon (7) Filipe Anderson (6) Townsend (6) and Wan-Bissaka (6).

Completing the top ten by just one point is Owen Barnes, thanks to a weekly score of 47 points. This wad due to contributions from captain Hazard (26) and Sterling (6).
