I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON SEVEN
WEEK 4
This week in a crazy Premier League, Aston Villa made a mockery of Liverpool’s high line to destroy them 7-2 at home. Tottenham destroyed 10 man Man Utd 6-1 at Old Trafford. West Ham surprised again to brush Leicester 3-0 in their own back yard. Chelsea destroyed Palace at home 4-0 with the benefit of two penalties. Everton continued their great run with a 4-2 home win over Brighton. Newcastle beat Burnley 3-1 at home. Southampton beat WBA 2-0 at home. Arsenal beat Sheff Utd 2-1 at home. Wolves beat Fulham 1-0 at home and Leeds got a 1-1 draw at home to Man City.
In the ITYIFL, we have our fourth new league leader in four weeks, as my Arsenal mate Mr James moves to the top of the table with a healthy 21 point lead, thanks to a superb weekly score of 93 points. Which also made him this weeks Highest Scorer by some distance. Doing the business was captain Salah (26) Rodriguez (18) Wilson (16) Jorginho (15) Fernandez (6) and Calvert-Lewin (6).
Also moving up, into second, is Lee Barratt following a decent 74 point week. This was thanks to the likes of captain Salah (26) Rodriguez (18) Kane (16) and Calvert-Lewin (6). The defending champion and September’s manager of the month Jeff Franklin moves down into third, following a somewhat disappointing 44 point week. His contributions only really came from Jorginho (15) McCarthy (9) Fernandes (6) and Walker-Peters (5).
Perennial top ten man Danny Milton moves up into the Champions League places due to a 65 point week. This was thanks to Son (18) Rodriguez (18) Saiss (8) Fernandes (6) and Calvert-Lewin (6). My youngest son Latrell Oscar also moves up into fifth, following a decent weekly score of 67 points. This was mainly due to Rodriguez (18) Kane (16) Wilson (16) and Coady (6).
My oldest mate Delroy Preddie move down into sixth, with a disappointing, given the circumstances, weekly score of 48 points. (congrats on Hayes & Yeading’s emphatic win in the FA Cup qualifying round) His only real contributions came from Cresswell (15) Wilson (15) and Patricio (6). Timothy Stigwood also moves down, into seventh, with an even more disappointing 42 point weekly score. He can only really thank the likes of Rodriguez (18) Sterling (9) and Calvert-Lewin (6).
My oldest nephew Tyrell Miles-Brown moves up into eighth place, following a weekly score of 59 points. Thanks mainly to captain Son (36) McCarthy (9) and Calvert-Lewin (6). Former champ Charles Denton moves up into ninth, due to a 53 point week. With contributions only from captain Salah (26) and Kane (16).
Washington DC’s Greg C sneaks into the top ten, despite a relatively disappointing weekly score of 49 points. His contributions came mainly from Kane (16) Salah (13) and McCarthy (9). This weeks Highest Mover is Natalie Stigwood, who moves up a massive 11 places from 23rd to 12th. This puts her joint seventh on the all time list, with an excellent weekly score of 80 points, thanks to the likes of captain Salah (26) Wilson (26) Jorginho (15) Saiss (8) and Fernandes (6).
Unfortunately we have our first international break, by the looks of it, some of us really need it, so i’ll see y’all in two weeks.
