I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON EIGHT
WEEK 17
This week in a depleted Premier League, Man City destroyed Leeds 7-0 at home. Arsenal beat West Ham 2-0 at home. Liverpool came from a goal down to beat Newcastle 3-1 at home. Wolves beat Brighton 1-0 away. Aston Villa beat Norwich 2-0 away. Crystal Palace drew at home to Southampton 2-2 and Everton got a surprise 1-1 draw at Chelsea.
In the ITYIFL, although it was a deleted week of games, it didn’t stop some managers as the defending champion Danny Milton continued his charge to back to back titles with an excellent 74 point weekly score. This was thanks to captain Salah (16) Alexander-Arnold (11) Foden (12) James (8) Tierney (7) Jota (7) and Mount (7).
Losing considerable ground in second, due to a somewhat disappointing 46 point week is my youngest son Latrell Oscar. His contributions came mainly from captain Salah (16) Alexander-Arnold (11) and Ramsdale (5). Washington DC’s Greg Cabana moves back up into third, thanks to a very decent weekly score of 72 points. This was due to the likes of captain Salah (16) Alexander-Arnold (11) James (8) Jota (7) Zaha (7) Smith Rowe (6) Cash (6) and Dias (6).
Moving down into fourth, in an exciting little domestic battle with his compatriot is Sanjay Beecher, following his slightly disappointing 45 point weekly score. This was mainly due to captain Salah (16) Alexander-Arnold (11) Tomiyasu (8) and Ramsdale (5). Jeff Franklin remains in fifth following his decent weekly score of 59 points. This was thanks to captain Salah (16) Alexander-Arnold (11) James (8) and Smith Rowe (6).
My coaching partner Francis Norville remains in sixth due to his decent 57 point week. This was due to captain Salah (16) Alexander-Arnold (11) Jota (7) Smith Rowe (6) White (6) and Ramsdale (5). Moving up to seventh, Natalie Holder continues her recent good form with another very decent weekly score of 72 points. This was thanks to triple captain Salah (24) Broja (12) Alexander-Arnold (11) Mount (7) and Smith Rowe (6).
This sees Owen Barnes move down one to eighth, following his 61 point weekly score. His contributions came from captain Salah (16) Alexander-Arnold (11) James (8) Coady (8) Gabriel (6) and Smith Rowe (6). Kool FM’s Pressure X remains in ninth place due to his 57 point week. Thanks mainly to triple captain Salah (24) Alexander-Arnold (11) James (8) and Smith Rowe (6).
In joint ninth, but tenth for the purpose of this, is my old work colleague Mr James. this was thanks to a weekly score of 61 points, with contribution from captain Salah (16) Alexander-Arnold (11) James (8) Tiernery (7) Mount (7) Smith Rowe (6) and Ramsdale (5). This week’s Highest Scorer is my old club mate Darren Ahmet with an excellent 76 point week. Doing the business were captain Salah (16) Watkins (12) Alexander-Arnold (11) James (8) Jota (7) Mount (7) Dias (5) and Ramsdale (5).
This week’s Highest Mover was Lee Barratt, who moved up three places from 19th to 16th, thanks to an excellent 75 point weekly score, one off the highest scorer. This was due to the likes of captain Salah (16) Foden (12) Alexander-Arnold (11) James (8) Jota (7) Smith Rowe (6) White (6) and Ramsdale (5).
Another quick turnaround to weekend games, but with an even more depleted Premier League week. Nevertheless, make it count y’all.
