I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON TEN
WEEK 25
This week in the Premier League, Wolves shocked Tottenham with a 2-1 away win. Liverpool beat Brentford 4-1 away. Arsenal destroyed Burnley 5-0 away. Man Utd sneaked past Luton 2-1 away. Brighton destroyed 10-man Sheff Utd 5-0 away. Notts Forest beat West Ham 2-0 at home.
Bournemouth drew 2-2 at Newcastle. Chelsea got a very credible draw, 1-1 at Man City. Then, in midweek. Man City eventually beat Brentford 1-0 at home, and Liverpool got back-to-back 4-1 wins as they beat Luton at home.
In the ITYFL, we have another new league leader. My middle son, Jahsiah Tobierrie, stormed to the top of the table for the first time in his ITYFL career, following a superb 98 point week, the joint second-highest score this season. Thanks to triple captain Haaland (30) Saka (15) Watkins (13) Solanke (12) Gabriel (6) Saliba (6), and Foden (5).
Owen Barnes stays second, following his very decent weekly score of 81 points. Due to captain Haaland (20) Saka (15) Watkins (13) Virgil (10) Saliba (6), and Van Hecke (6).
Former league leader Sanjay Beecher moves down to third due to his 75 point weekly score. His contributions came from triple captain Haaland (30) Watkins (13) Virgil (10) Foden (5) Kelleher (5), and Jota (4).
Former champ, champ Danny Milton remains fourth but has closed the distance on third to just 10 points, thanks to his excellent 98 point weekly score, the joint second-highest this season. Following triple captain Haaland (30) Saka (15) Watkins (13) Morris (10) Gabriel (6) Foden (5), and Jota (4).
My oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito, remains in fifth due to his decent weekly score of 82 points. His contributions were from captain Watkins (26) Saka (15) Solanke (12) Gordon (8) J.Alvarez (7), and Saliba (6). The defending double champ Jeff Franklin moves up to sixth, following his decent 81 point week, thanks to triple captain Haaland (30) Watkins (13) Solanke (12) Gabriel (6) Foden (5) and Jota (4).
Just two points behind, my coaching partner Francis Norville moves down to seventh place. His 81 point weekly score was due to triple captain Haaland (30) Saka (15) Watkins (13) Toney (7), and Saliba (6). Storming up into eighth is former champ and this week’s Highest Scorer, ahem Charles Denton, with a fantastic 107 point week, the highest weekly score this season. Doing the business was triple captain Haaland (30) Saka (15) Odegaard (14) Watkins (13) Solanke (12) Virgin (10), and Gabriel (6).
This sees my blood brother Wayne Watson move down to ninth following his 72 point weekly score. His contributions were from captain Haaland (20) Saka (15) Salah (11) J.Alvarez (7), and Saliba (6). My oldest nephew, Tyrell Miles-Brown makes up the top ten, due to his weekly score of 76 points, following triple captain De Bruyne (6) Saka (15) Watkins (13) Ederson (11) Haaland (10) Gabriel (6) Garnacho (5) and Jota (4).
This week’s Highest Mover was Washington DC’s Greg Cabana, whose excellent 98 point week, which, as stated, is the joint second-highest score this season, moved him up four places from 18th to 14th. Thanks to captain Haaland (20) Rodrigo (13) Watkins (13) Solanke (12) Walker (12) Salah (11) Saliba (6), and Jota (4).
