Fantasy Football S11 WEEK 1 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON ELEVEN

WEEK 1

On the opening day of the Premier League, Brighton brushed Everton aside 3-0 at Goodison Park. In the El Cashico, Man City eased past Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge. Aston Villa defeated West Ham 2-1 away. Ten-man Newcastle beat newly promoted Southampton 1-0 at home.

Liverpool welcomed newly promoted Ipswich with a 2-0 away win. Arsenal eased past Wolves 2-0 at home. Man Utd needed a late goal to defeat Fulham 1-0 at home. Brentford scored a late winner to beat Crystal Palace 2-1 at home.

Leicester survived a terrible first half back in the Premier League to draw 1-1 at home to Spurs, and Bournemouth got a very late goal to draw 1-1 at Notts Forest.

In the eleventh season of the ITYFL, my youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar is the Highest Scorer and early pacesetter, hoping to start as he means to go on with an impressive 91 point weekly score. Thanks to captain Havertz (24) Salah (14) Saka (12) Alexander-Arnold (8) Ederson (8) Paqueta (6) Robertson (6), and Zinchenko (6).

Owen Barnes is in second, just nine points behind, with a very decent weekly score of 82 points. Due to captain Salah (28) Saka (12) Wissa (11) Gvardiol (7) Gabriel (6) Saliba (6) and Isak (5).

Just a point behind in third is RMC Eremce, with a very decent 81 point weekly score. Following captain Salah (28) Joelinton (11) Pedro Porro (9) Gvardiol (7) Haaland (7) Gabriel (6) and Flekken (4).

My former work colleague and Arsenal mate Mr James is in fourth due to his decent 77 point week, with contributions from captain captain Havertz (24) Saka (12) Alexander-Arnold (8) Gvardiol (7) White (6) Isak (5) and Flekken (4).

In fifth, just a point off a Champions League place, is Simon Sebhat, with a decent 76 point weekly score. Due to captain Saka (24) Pedro Porro (9) Jota (8) Raya (8) Gvardiol (7) Gabriel (6), and Isak (5).

In sixth is my daughter, The OG Nea, making her debut with a decent weekly score of 74 points. Following captian Haaland (14) Havertz (12) Saka (12) Wood (9) Alexadner-Arnold (8) White (6), and Garnacho (4).

In seventh is another making his debut. “Coach Simz” Simeon Edwards starts with a weekly score of 71 points, due to captain Salah (28) Saka (12) Alexander-Arnold (8) Gvardiol (7) and Isak (5).

In joint seventh, also with a 71 point week, is the former two-time champ, Jeff Franklin, with contributions from captain Isak (10) Saka (12) Pedro Porro (9) Jota (8) Dalot (7) Haaland (7) Saliba (6) and Flekken (4),

The defending three-time champion Danny Milton is in ninth place, with a 70 point weekly score, following captain Isak (10) Saka (12) Pedro Porro (9) Alexandere-Arnold (8) Jota (8) Raya (8) and Saliba (6).

My blood brother, Wayne Watson, makes up the top ten due to his 69 point week, with captain Haaland (14) Salah (14) Alexander-Arnold (8) Semenyo (8) Alisson (7) Akanji (6), and Gabriel (6).

The Premier League is back!!!!! But only two more game weeks before we head into the first international break. So, make it count y’all.
