I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON ELEVEN
WEEK 26
This week in the Premier League, Liverpool beat Man City 2-0 away to go eleven points clear at the top, while Arsenal lost 1-0 at home to West Ham. Aston Villa came from a goal down to beat Chelsea 2-1 at home.
Newcastle beat Notts Forest 4-3 at home in a thrilling game. Crystal Palace beat Fulham away 2-0. Brentford destroyed Leicester 4-0 away. Brighton also destroyed Southampton 4-0 away. Spurs brushed Ipswich aside 4-1 away.
Wolves beat 10-man Bournemouth 1-0 away, and Man Utd came back from two goals down at halftime and survived a controversial last-minute penalty decision to draw 2-2 at Everton.
In the ITYFL, the defending three-times champ Danny Milton is starting to make it look easy, as he stretched his lead to 78 points, thanks to his very decent 88 point week, due to captain Mbeumo (28) Salah (14) Isak (18) Hall (9) Wood (5) and AM Emery (8).
Nordin Gharib remains in second place following a weekly score of 71 points, with captain Salah (28) Mbeumo (14) Isak (13) and Wood (5).
In third place is my recent(ish) former work colleague Abdul Rahman, with a decent 73 point weekly score. His main contributions came from captain Salah (28) Mbeumo (14) Isak (13) Alexander-Arnold (6), and Wood (5).
There points behind, flying the flag for JA & USA is Sanjay Beecher due to a very decent 84 point week, thanks to captain Mbeumo (28) Salah (14) Rashford (9) Collins (6) Gibbs-White (5) Guehi (5) and AM Slot (10).
Owen Barnes stays in fifth, following his weekly score of 71 points, due to captain Salah (28) Mbeumo (14) Isak (13) and Alexander-Arnold (6). My youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar moved up to sixth, with a very decent 79 point weekly score and contributions from captain Salah (28) Mbeumo (14) Hall (9) Alexander-Arnold (6) Wood (5) and AM Emery (8).
This sees my blood brother Wayne Watson move down to seventh, following his 65 point week, with captain Salah (28) Wissa (8) Flekken (7) Alexander-Arnold (6) Guehi (5) and Wood (5). This week’s Highest Mover was my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie, who was the only manager this week to move up more than one place, as he moved up from 10th to 8th due to an excellent weekly score of 90 points. Thanks to captain Mbeumo (28) Salah (14) Isak (13) Hall (9) Alexander-Arnold (6), and Wood (5).
Staying in ninth, just three points behind, is Simon Sebhat following a very decent 87 point weekly score due to captain Salah (28) Mbeumo (14) Isak (13) Kulusevski (9) Alexander-Arnold (6) Milenkovic (5) and Wood (5). Moving up into the top ten is the two-time champ, Jeff Franklin, thanks to a superb 91 point week, making him this week’s Highest Scorer. Doing the business was captain Salah (28) Mbeumo (14) Isak (13) Hall (9) Flekken (7), and AM Slot (10).
