I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON ELEVEN
WEEK 34
This week, in the Premier League. Bournemouth surprised Arsenal with a 2-1 away win. Chelsea beat a still celebrating league champion, Liverpool, 3-1 at home. Brentford beat Man Utd in a feast of goals 4-3 at home.
Aston Villa beat Fulham 1-0 at home to boost their European hopes. Leicester finally scored at home as they beat rock bottom Southampton 2-0. Ipswich came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Everton.
Newcastle got a very late penalty to draw 1-1 at Brighton. Forest drew 1-1 at Crystal Palace, and West Ham drew with Spurs at home by the same score.
In the ITYFL, three-time champ Danny Milton seems to be storming to a fourth title and showing what champions do by producing in the last few weeks of the season. He scored an excellent 67 point weekly score, making him this week’s Highest Scorer thanks to captain De Bruyne (22) Bowen (9) Isak (9) Gvardiol (8) Wissa (7) and Mbeumo (5).
Nordin Gharib remains second, but some 39 points adrift, following his very decent 65 point week, due to De Bruyne (11) Eze (10) Murillo (10) Isak (9) Gvardiol (8) and Virgil (6).
In third is flying the flag for JA & USA, Sanjay Beecher, despite a disappointing weekly score of 41 points, with contributions from captain Mbeumo (10) Isak (9) and Gvardiol (8).
Making up the Champions League places and closing the distance on third is my recent(ish) former work colleague Abdul Rahman. He scored a 50 point week, following Isak (9) Gvardiol (8) Mbeumo (5) Semenyo and AM Frank (10).
Two-time champ Jeff Franklin moves up to fifth due to a weekly score of 51 points, mainly due to captain Isak (18) Gvardiol (8) Konsa (6) Mbeumo (5) and Henderson (3). This sees my youngest son and former champ, Latrell Oscar, moved down to sixth, just a point behind, following a modest 44 point week. Due to De Bruyne (11) Isak (9) Mbeumo (5) and N.Williams (5).
Owen Barnes remains seventh, due to a modest 41 point weekly score, his main contributions came from Palmer (10) Isak (9) Mbeumo (5) and Semenyo (4). In eighth is my blood brother Wayne Watson, with a modest weekly score of 43 points following Isak (9) Wissa (7) Virgil (6) Damsgaard (5) and Semenyo (4).
My former work colleague, Mr James, stays in ninth with a disappointing 34 point week and contributions from Isak (9) Wissa (7) and Mbeumo (5). My middle son, Jahsiah Tobierrie, remains in the top ten following his 54 point weekly score with Palmer (10) Isak (9) Gvardiol (8) Schar (6) Damsgaaard (5), and Mbeumo (5).
There was no highest mover this week as only three teams moved up, and all by just one place.
