WEEK 4

In the Premier League, 10-man Manchester City pulled off a surprising 1-0 win against Manchester Utd, albeit with a controversial goal. Arsenal maintained their 100% start to the season with a 2-0 away win at Sunderland. Leeds destroyed Newcastle 4-1 at home.

Brighton destroyed 10-man Coventry 5-0 away. Ipswich secured a 3-2 away win over 10-man Crystal Palace. Notts Forest scored a late goal to beat Aston Villa, who were reduced to 10 men due to injuries. Hull City got a very credible 2-2 draw at Chelsea.

Brentford scored from their two shots on goal to draw 2-2 at Bournemouth. Fulham got a decent 0-0 draw at Liverpool, and Spurs are still waiting for their first goals of the season following a 0-0 draw at home to Everton.

In the Fantasy League, this week’s Highest Scorer was Coach Simz, Simeon Edwards, who stormed to the top of the table, thanks to his superb 100 point weekly score, the joint sixth-highest this season. Doing the business were captain Haaland (18) Gross (17) Raya (14) Joao Pedro (12) Calvert-Lewin (10) Tarkowski (6) Van Hecke (6), and Virgil (6).

Staying in second place, just eight points behind is Owen Barnes, following a decent 77 point week. With captain Haaland (18) Raya (14) Joao Pedro (12) Tarkowski (8) Calafiori (6) Guehi (6) Rice (6), and Gomez (3).

Moving down to third is my middle son Jahsiah T, due to his decent wildcard weekly score of 66 points, with contributions from captain Rogers (16) Raya (14) Joao Pedro (12) Haaland (9) Calafiori (6), and Odegaard (3).

Just three points behind his brother in fourth place is my youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar, with a decent 68 point weekly score. Following captain Palmer (10) Raya (14) Calvert-Lewin (10) Gabriel (9) Haaland (9) Gibbs-White (8), and Szoboszlai (3).

Remaining in fifth is two-time champ Jeff Franklin, who had a decent weekly score of 77 points. His main contributions came from captain Joao Pedro (24) Mykalenko (11) Calvert-Lewin (10) Haaland (9) Verbruggen (8), and Calafiori (6). Yours Truly stays in sixth place. I had a decent 66 point wildcard week, with captain Joao Pedro (24) Haaland (9) Calafiori (6) Konsa (6) Van de Ven (6) Palmer (5) King (3), and Odegaard (3).

Just a point behind in seventh is Sanjay Beecher, flying the flag for JA & USA, following his decent weekly score of 67 points. Due to captain Haaland (18) Joao Pedro (12) Rogers (8) Robertson (7) Calafiori (6) Guehi (6) Kelleher (3), and Szoboszlai (3). Four points behind in eighth place is Timothy Stigwood with a decent 65 point week. His contributions came from captain Haaland (18) Van Hecke (8) Kinksy (7) Calafiori (6) Konsa (6) Palmer (5) Sangare (4) Semenyo (3) Szoboszlai (3), and Tzolis (3).

My oldest nephew Tyrell Miles-Brown moves up into joint ninth thanks to a very decent weekly score of 77 points, due to captain Joao Pedro (12) Raya (14) Haaland (9) Gibbs-White (8) Calafiori (6) Van de Ven (6) Odegaard (3), and Szoboszlai (3). Also moving up into joint ninth is Simon Sebhat, with a 77 point week. Following captain Joao Pedro (24) Raya (14 Gabriel (9) Haaland (9) Rogers (8), and Rice (6).

This week’s Highest Mover was my longtime bredrin, Francis Norville. He moved up five places from 19th to 14th with an excellent 87 point weekly score. Thanks to the likes of captain Joao Pedro (24) De Cuyper (11) Gvardiol (11) Haaland (9) Saka (8) Yalcouye (8) Calafiori (6) Scott (4), and Kelleher (3).
