WEEK 8

This week in the Premier League, Bournemouth piled more misery on Man Utd with a 3-0 win at Old Trafford. Spurs shocked Chelsea with a 2-0 away win. Aston Villa made it a third consecutive home win against Man City with a 2-1 win.

Liverpool impressed as they beat high-scoring Brighton 2-0 at home. Arsenal got a comfortable 2-0 win at Everton. Newcastle beat struggling Crystal Palace 2-0 away.

Fulham got a much-needed win as they beat Coventry 1-0 away. Notts Forest drew 1-1 at Ipswich. Hull drew 1-1 at home to Brentford and Leeds drew 0-0 at Sunderland.

In a low-scoring Fantasy League, coach sims, Simeon Edwards benefited from a modest week, as he stretched his lead at the top, following a decent 50 point week, thanks mainly to captain Haaland (16), Virgil (9), Raya (7), Van Hecke (7), Le Fee (3), and Yirenkyi (3).

Owen Barnes lost some ground in second, due to a modest weekly score of 37 points, with main contributions from captain Haaland (16), Raya (7), Hall (5), and Rice (3).

Also losing some ground in third is my middle son Jahsiah T, who has a modest 35 point weekly score, with captain Odegaard (6), Haaland (8), Raya (7), and Justin (6).

Just point behind in fourth is Timothy Stigwood, thanks to his decent weekly score of 48 points, mainly due to captain Haaland (16), Konsa (14), Kinsky (9), and Evanilson (6).

My youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar, moves up into fifth, despite his modest 37 point week, with captain Rogers (2), Konsa (14), Haaland (8), Raya (7), and Le Fee (3). This sees two-time champ Jeff Franklin down to sixth, following a 31 point weekly score and main contribution from captain Haaland (16).

Another former champ (ahem) Charles Denton remains in seventh, with a 33 point wildcard week. Due to captain Haaland (16), Rice (3), and Tzolakis (3). My oldest nephew, Tyrell Miles-Brown, moves up to joint eighth, thanks to a weekly score of 40 points, following captain Haaland (16), Raya (7), Van de Ven (5), and Belloumi (4).

Flying the flag for JA & USA, Sanjay Beecher is also in joint eighth, due to a 36 point weekly score, with captain Haaland (16), Hall (5), Belloumi (4), Neto (3), and Tzolakis (3). Moving up into a top ten spot on Simon Sebhat, due to a very decent 59 point week. Thanks to vice captain Raya (14), Gabriel (17), Haaland (8), N. Williams (8), Ndiaye (5), and Rice (3).

This week’s Highest Scorer was my oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito, thanks to an excellent weekly score of 69 points. Doing the business were vice captain Haaland (16), Gabriel (17), Tavernier (10), O’Nien (9), Raya (7), Ajayi (4), and Belloumi (4).

This week’s Highest Mover was my blood brother Wayne Watson, who moves up seven places from 18th to 11th, thanks to an excellent 65 point weekly score, with captain Haaland (16), Gabriel (17), Tavernier (10), Munoz (7), Belloumi (4), and Tanaka (3).
