PLAYER NO67
Full Name: Francesco Bardi
Original Team: Inter Milan (Italy)
Best Position: Goalkeeper
Best Attribute: Reflexes / Decisions / Concentration
Bio: Although it may take a considerable amount of negotiations, patience and possibly money. If you can pull it off, this will be a great acquisition for your team for many years.
He is a solid keeper who is an excellent shot stopper and great on crosses. His reflexes is what I would say that impressed me the most and though he made a catalog of flying saves, it was his point blanks saves that stood out the most.
Often from a yard or two out, while anticipating a certain goal, he would reach out a hand or a leg to make a surprising save. There were many times where his one vital save late on, more or less secured an important win.
He was an Italian international who didn’t get a huge amount of caps but was named in the World Cup team tournament one year. He was also second twice and third twice for goalkeeper of the year and named in the league team of the year four times.
That is a good tip particularly to those fresh to the blogosphere.
