Fantasy Football WEEK 8 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON SIX

WEEK 8

This week in the Premier League, Wolves shocked Man City, beating them 2-0 at the Etihad, becoming the first team to stop them scoring at home this year. Liverpool needed a 95th penalty to beat Leicester 2-1. Brighton heaped more misery on Tottenham beating them 3-0 at home. Newcastle left Man Utd 2 points above the relegation zone when they beat them 1-0 at home. Chelsea destroyed Southampton 4-1 away. Aston Villa destroyed Norwich away. Crystal Palace beat West Ham 2-1 away. Burnley beat Everton 1-0 at home. Arsenal beat Bournemouth 1-0 at home also Watford and Sheff Utd played out a 1-1 draw.

In a very low scoring ITYIFL, Lee Barratt just about remains in pole position via a mere five points, due to a 39 point week, where his only real contributions came from captain Aguero (4) Abraham (8) Kelly (7) Patricio (6) and Lundstram (5).

My oldest mate Delroy Preddie, in his debut season, moves ominously up into second place, due to a superb weekly score of 68 points, making him this weeks Highest Scorer. Doing the business were Mane (12) Jimenez (10) Ayew (9) Grealish (7) Maddison (7) Coady (6) and Lundstram (6). On the same points, but down to third for the benefit of this league is Natalie Stigwood, due to a weekly score of 38 points. With contributions from captain Aguero (4) Mane (12) Lascelles (6) and Lundstram (5).

Also down, but making up the Champions League places in fourth is perennial top ten man Danny Milton, with a weekly score of 42 points. This was due to Abraham (8) Mount (7) Ryan (7) and Lundstram (5). Another who moved down, into fifth was Timothy Stigwood with a weekly score of 36 points, where his only real contributions came from Abraham (8) Mount (7) and Boly (7).

Moving up into sixth is Simon Sebhat due to a weekly score of 40 points. This was thanks to the likes of captain Sterling (4) Abraham (8) Maddison (7) and Kelly (7). Down into seventh is my oldest nephew Tyrell Miles-Brown due to a disappointing weekly score of 32 points, with contribution only really from captain Salah (4) Kelly (6) and Douglas Luis (7).

Moving up into eighth is Washington DC’s Greg C, thanks to a very decent 51 point week. This was thanks mainly to captain Abraham (16) Dunk (10) and Mount (7). Also moving up, into ninth is Kool FM’s Pressure X. This was due to a 46 point week, thanks to captain Aguero (4) Van Aanholt (9) Abraham (8) Mount (7) and Patricio (6).

Down, but making up the top ten is last years runner up Mr James, with a 38 point week. This was contributed by the likes of captain Aguero (4) Abraham (8) Ryan (7) and Lundstram (5). This weeks Highest Mover was Mr Paul Jarvis. Who moved up a mammoth 10 places from 22nd to 12th, due to a superb weekly score of 62 points. Doing the business were captain Aguero (4) Foster (10) Dunk (10) Abraham (8) Mount (7) Grealish (7) Pepe (6) and Schar (5).

After an underwhelming fantasy week. Unfortunately, we have an international break. So see ya’ll in two weeks.
