Bio: This is a player that doesn’t really jump out at you at first, as he is only 19 when the game starts.
To be honest, he is not really one for absolute elite clubs, although he could still do a job anywhere.
However, for me, he is invaluable and really stood out when I was a mid-table team working my way up through the league.
At that time, he was a real touch of class, especially if like me, you like your teams to play passing football. He is excellent on the ball, full of composure and can really pick a pass.
He can dictate play from the middle of the park and I found him extremely reliable, always with consistent performances and was hardly ever injured.
Another plus was when needed, he can operate at right midfield and possesses a superb cross.
His vision, creativity and reliability made him a main stay in my squad for a number of years and performed consistently from being mid table, all they way up to playing vital Champions League games. He also became a Portuguese international.
