Fantasy Football S7 WEEK 17 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON SEVEN

WEEK 17

This week in the Premier League, Southampton shocked a lacklustre Liverpool, beating them 1-0 at home. Man City brushed Chelsea aside 3-1 away. West Ham upset Everton beating them 1-0 at Goodison. Spurs eased past Leeds 3-0 at home. Arsenal continued their recent good form to destroy West Brom 4-0 away. Man Utd got a dubious penalty to beat Aston Villa 2-1 at home. Leicester beat Newcastle 2-1 away. Crystal Palace beat Sheff Utd 2-0 at home, who officially have the worst start to a season in English league history. Also, Brighton and Wolves played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Amex stadium.

In the ITYIFL, Lee Barratt maintains a slender lead at the top of the table, thanks to a decent weekly score of 66 points. This was thanks to the likes of Son (13) Kane (12) Fernandes (10) Bednarek (7) Grealish (7) and Wan-Bissaka (6).

Cutting the lead at the top to just three points, is perennial top ten man Danny Milton, thanks to a superb 84 point week. Doing the business was captain Son (26) Kane (12) Soucek (11) Fernandes (10) Coufal (6) Mitchell (6) and Vardy (5). Defending champion Jeff Franklin remains in third, following a decent weekly score of 65 points. This was due to captain Son (26) Fernandes (10) Walker-Peters (6) Coufal (6) and Mitchell (6).

Flying the flag for the ladies, Natalie Holder remains in the Champions League places, with a weekly score of 58 points. This was due to contributions from captain Fernandes (20) Kane (12) Ward-Prowse (6) Neto (5) and Vardy (5). My now more happier Arsenal mate Mr James remains in fifth, following a decent 64 point week. Thanks to captain Fernandes (20) Son (13) Kane (12) and Saka (8).

Owen Barnes continues his recent good form and is gradually closing the gap on the managers above, with another very decent weekly score of 79 points. This was due to captain Fernandes (20) Son (13) De Bruyne (13) Kane (12) Bednarek (7) and Neto (5). Washington DC’s Greg C remains in seventh place, thanks to a decent 66 point week. His contributions came from captain Kane (24) Fernandes (10) Saka (8) Bednarek (7) Coufal (6) and Sterling (5).

The first bit of movement in the top ten sees Tommy Warner move up to eighth place following an excellent weekly score of 82 points. This was thanks to captain Kane (24) Son (13) Cresswell (11) Fernandes (10) Grealish (7) Bednarek (7) and Neto (5). Also moving up, into ninth is Nordin Gharib with a superb weekly score of 92 points, making him this weeks Highest Scorer. Doing the business was captain Son (26) Tierney (18) Kane (12) Fernandes (10) Grealish (7) Saiss (7) and Vardy (5).

Moving back up into the top ten is my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie, with a very decent wildcard weekly score of 73 points. This was due to the likes of captain Kane (24) Tierney (18) Fernandes (10) Neto (5) and Vardy (5)

I missed week 16 update so no highest mover this week. It’s an FA Cup break at the weekend but the Premier League is back for the midweek games starting 12th January. So make it count y’all.
