Fantasy Football S9 WEEK 5 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON NINE

WEEK 5

This midweek in the Premier League, Man City destroyed Forest at home 6-0, with you know how getting back-to-back hat-tricks. Liverpool got a dramatic 98th-minute winner to sink Newcastle at Anfield. Southampton got a surprise win, beating Chelsea at home 2-1. Arsenal maintained their 100% record by beating Aston Villa 2-1 at the Emirates. Man Utd got their third win in a row as they beat Leicester away 1-0, Fulham beat Brighton 2-1 at home. West Ham drew 1-1 at home to Tottenham. Leeds drew 1-1 at home to Everton, and Brentford got a late equaliser to draw at Crystal Palace 1-1.

In the ITYIFL, league leader Natalie Stigwood has stretched her lead at the top thanks to a superb 87 point weekly score, making her this week’s joint Highest Scorer. Doing the business was captain Haaland (34) Cancelo (12) Martinelli (10) Dalot (8) Sterling (8) and Kane (5).

My old football clubmate Darren Ahmet sits 35 points off the top, following a 68 point week. With contributions from captain Salah (20) Haaland (17) Martinelli (10) Jesus (6) and Walker (6). Moving up into joint third, is my oldest nephew, Tyrell Miles-Brown, thanks to his decent weekly score of 75 points. This was due to captain Haaland (34) Martinelli (10) Mitrovic (9) Sterling (8) and Jesus (6).

Weirdly, Nordin Gharib has been placed fourth, despite having the same points as third and scoring a higher weekly score, a very decent 82 points. His contributions came from captain Haaland (34) Martinelli (10) Salah (10) Mitrovic (9) and Jesus (9). Former champ Jeff Franklin moves up to fifth due to his very decent 82 point weekly score. This was thanks to captain Jesus (12) Haaland (17) Cancelo (12) Martinelli (10) Salah (10) Dalot (8) and Andreas (6).

This saw my long-time mate Bob Maroon in his debut season, move down to sixth, following a weekly score of 67 points. This was mainly due to captain Haaland (34) Sterling (8) Jesus (6) and Kane (5). My recent former work colleague Abdul Rahman remains in seventh, thanks to his decent 74 point week. With contributions from captain Haaland (34) Salah (10) Mitrovic (9) Sterling (8) and Jesus (6).

My middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie moves up into eighth, thanks to his very decent weekly score of 86 points. This was due to the likes of captain Haaland (34) Martinelli (10) Salah (10) Gordon (8) Jesus (6) Lavia (6) and Walker (6). Washington DC’s Greg Cabana also moves up into ninth, due to his decent weekly score of 74 points. This was thanks to captain Salah (20) Haaland (17) Mitrovic (9) Sterling (8) White (8) and Jonny (6).

Moving down but just holding onto a top ten spot is Timothy Stigwood, following his 50 point weekly score. His main contributions came from captain Salah (20) White (8) Dias (6) and Jesus (6). This week’s other joint Highest Scorer is my coaching partner Francis Norville, with an excellent 87 point week, which moved him up seven places from 20th to 13th, also making him this week’s Highest Mover. Doing the business was captain Haaland (34) Cancelo (12) Martinelli (10) Salah (10) Dias (6) and Jesus (6).

It’s another quick turnaround to the weekend games so make it count y’all.
