TEAM: NEWCASTLE
Newcastle demolished Sheff United at Bramall Lane with the ultimate team performance.
They equalled their biggest Premier League win while claiming a record with the first time eight players have scored for one team. It was truly an inhalation, and maybe unlucky not to hit double figures.
Well done also to Everton, Aston Villa, Brighton, Liverpool, Man Utd and Man City.
GOALKEEPER: EMILIANO MARTINEZ (Aston Villa)
It was another week with a tough decision in this category. A few were in contention for this, but the Villa keeper secured a clean sheet with some big saves.
Although he was not overly exerted in the game, when called upon, he made some excellent saves with his hands and feet to keep Chelsea at bay. Which allowed his team to go on and claim a vital 1-0 away win.
Shout out also to Chelsea’s Sanchez. Crystal Palace’s Johnstone and Liverpool’s Alisson.
DEFENDER: JAMES TARKOWSKI (Everton)
He marshalled the back line very well with his teammates, and looked strong all game while getting stick off the home fans being an ex-player.
Not only did he assist the first goal with a well-placed header, but he arrived perfectly to head in a corner to make it 2-1 and set his team on the way to an impressive and morale-boosting away win.
Well done also to his teammate Braithwaite. Newcastle foursome Trippier, Schar, Botmon and Burn. Man Utd duo Evans and Reguilon. Man City’s Walker. Luton’s Lockyer. Fulham’s Diop. Palace’s Anderson. Liverpool’s Gomez. Villa duo Konsa & Digne. Brighton duo Dunk & Estupinan.
MIDFIELDER: KAORU MITOMA (Brighton)
After their European hiccup, he sat out the first half and watched his team struggle at home to Bournemouth.
However, he came off the bench in the second half to make an instant impact. He scored after just 40 seconds with a lovely touch and finish. Then he settled the game with an impressive headed goal.

FORWARD: HUENG-MIN SON (Tottenham)
In the North London derby, the game that means the most to the supporters. He put in a captain’s performance.
He notched two goals to earn a point at a place where they have far too often come away with nothing. Both goals were excellent finishes to remind everyone how clinical he can be.

MANAGER: EDDIE HOWE (Newcastle)
There is not much more that needs to be said. Howe can feel very proud of this team’s performance, with the emphasis on the word team, with eight different scorers, which included bringing two off the bench to score.
This is also off the back of a credible draw at the San Siro in the Champions League. Things are looking very bright.
Shout out also to Everton’s Dyche and Villa’s Emery.
UNSUNG HERO: KIERAN TRIPPIER (Newcastle)
The England full-back recorded three assists in his team’s destruction of Sheff Utd and was involved in two other goals.
While being solid at the back, he was a menace going forward, and his effortless deliveries caused carnage all game.
Well done also to his teammate Gordon. Spurs’ Maddison and Everton’s Doucoure.
GAME: ARSENAL 2-2 TOTTENHAM
Arsenal opened the scoring in the first half when Zinchenko won the ball on the left and charged forward. He then played the ball square for Odegaard, who moved it left for Saka.
From just inside the box, he cut back to his left, and his curling effort was sliced into his own net by Romero (26).
Spurs got back into it just before half time, when Maddison turned Saka on the left, and his low cross from the byline was turned in by Son (42).
In the second half, Arsenal got a penalty when White’s swivelled shot in the six-yard box deflected up onto Romero’s arm. Saka then made no mistake from the spot (54).
However, right from the kick-off, Spurs were level. Jorginho dithered on the ball and was robbed by Maddison. He charged forward and slipped Son in on the right, who made no mistake with a first-time, side-footed finish into the bottom far corner (55).
GOAL: BRUNO FERNANDES (Man Utd) v Burnley
Evans picked up the ball deep in the Man Utd half just to the left. He looked up and played a searching ball to the far right of the box for Fernandes.
As the ball came to him, Fernandes watched the ball drop, and from an angle on the right, he hit a first-time, low volley that arrowed into the bottom far corner.
FOOL: SHEFFIELD UNITED
Chelsea were lucky to get away with this, as was the poor officiating in the Luton v Wolves game. However, Sheff Utd should feel ashamed of themselves as they were embarrassed on their home pitch.
Their defending was atrocious all game, and it is not going overboard to say they were lucky to come away with just the eight goals conceded. FOOLS!
