WEEK 9

This week in the Premier League, Newcastle brushed Crystal Palace aside 4-0 at home. Aston Villa brushed West Ham aside 4-1 at home. Spurs stayed top as they beat Fulham at home 2-0. Gary O’Neil got one over his old club as Wolves beat Bournemouth 2-1 away.

Man City beat Brighton 2-1 at home. Liverpool won the Merseyside derby with a 2-0 home win over Everton. Brentford brushed Burnley aside 3-0 at home. Man Utd beat Sheff Utd 2-1 away.

Arsenal scored two late goals to draw 2-2 at Chelsea and Luton got two even later goals to draw 2-2 at Forest.

In the ITYFL, my oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito remains on top, following his bench boost 60 point weekly score. This was due to the likes of captain Haaland (16) Watkins (11) Trippier (10) Pope (7), and from the bench Saka (5).

Closing the distance in second to just seven, thanks to his excellent weekly score of 87 points is Owen Barnes. Doing the business was a smart captain choice of Son (28), also Watkins (11) Trippier (10) Maddison (9) Bowen (8) Haaland (8) and Pedro Porro (6).

Sanjay Beecher moves down to third, despite his decent 63 point week. With contributions from captain Haaland (16) Salah (16) Watkins (11) and Neto (4). Former champ, ahem Charles Denton stays in fourth, due to his 64 point weekly score. Following captain Haaland (16) Son (14) Trippier (10) Bowen (8) Burn (6) and Darwin (4).

Moving up to fifth is my middle son, Jahsiah Tobierrie due to his excellent weekly score of 87 points. Thanks to a smart captain choice of Salah (32), also Mbeumo (14) Watkins (11) Haaland (8) Vicario (6) Saka (5) and Neto (4).

My coaching partner Francis Norville remains in sixth, following his decent 69 point week. Due to captain Haaland (16) Salah (16) Watkins (11) Trippier (10) Gordon (8) and Saka (5). Former champ, champ Danny Milton moves up to seventh, with his excellent 85 point weekly score. Thanks to an interesting captain choice of Trippier (20), also Mbeumo (14) Son (14) Alvarez (9) Maddison (9) Haaland (8) and Saka (5).

My blood brother, Wayne Watson stays in eighth, following his very decent weekly score of 77 points. Due to captain Haaland (16) Salah (16) Alvarez (9) Maddison (9) Alisson (8) Pinnock (7) and Saka (5). This sees Simon Sebhat move down to ninth due to his 54 point week, with contributions from captain Saka (10) Salah (16) Watkins (11) and Haaland (8).

This week’s Highest Mover is my Arsenal mate and former work colleague Wayne James. He moved up eight places from 18th to 10th, thanks to a superb 97 point weekly score, which also makes him this week’s joint Highest Scorer, with the highest weekly score thus far this season. Doing the business was a smart captain choice of Salah (32), also Son (14) Trippier (10) Alvarez (9) Maddison (9) Bowen (8) Tsimikas (6) and Saka (5).

This week’s other joint Highest Scorer, with the highest weekly score thus far this season, reppin Poland, is rmc eremce. Whose superb weekly score of 97 points was thanks to a smart captain choice of Son (28), also Salah (16) Mbuemo (14) Watkins (11) Trippier (10) and Alvarez (9).
