Bio: In all honesty this signing could go either way for you. He’s 25 when the game starts, and on loan so will not be an easy purchase.
I signed him at the age of 30 as a back up and he gave me five good seasons, three as the first choice in his position.
His exceptional fitness and stamina allowed him to play on into his mid 30’s, at a very high level. Another reason I kept him so late was due to him being an excellent dead ball specialist.
He had a superb free kick on him and scored the majority of his goals this way, many at vital stages of the game which was a valuable weapon to have.
He was also a very reliable penalty taker and had a great cross on him which along with his stamina, was the main reason I preferred to play him in the wing back position.
