I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON FOUR
WEEK 11
It was another interesting, if low scoring Premier League week with Bournemouth. Brighton and Burnley securing unexpected 1-0 away wins. Liverpool knocked four past West Ham to give Bilic his marching orders. Man City brushed aside Arsenal and Chelsea toppled United at home. The relatively low scoring games naturally affected the ITYFL. However, We have a new league leader. Joe Hilditch scored a respectable 61 points. Thanks to captain Salah (30). Ramsey (7). Jesus (5) and Courtois (7). to open up a 22 point lead.
Former league leader Issa Banka just holds on to second place by one point, after a disastrous week. With only captain Eriksen (6) and De Gea (4) as real contributors. Up to third is Kool FM’s Pressure X. Doing the business was Aguero (8). Richarlison (7). Sterling (5). Ward (6) and Azpilicueta (12) for a decent 55 points.
Making up the Champions League places is Timothy Stigwood. Due to contributions from captain Aguero (16). Salah (15). Jesus. Fernandinho (5). Mee (8) and Daniels (6). Down to fifth comes Halifa SS. Who also had a bad week with only David Silva (5) and Alonso (6) providing any significant points.
Up into sixth place comes last years runner-up Emmanuel Ogana. Thanks to Salah. Jesus. Richarlison. Ward and Daniels combining to provide a decent week with 54 points. Down one place into seventh, is Yours Truly. My only real contributors were Fernandinho. David Silva and Lowton (6).
With a respectable 56 points and this weeks highest mover, from 13th up to 8th, comes Mr Paul Jarvis. Again, thanks to captain Salah. Also David Silva and Lewis Dunk (5). Also moving up, into ninth place is Tommy Warner. Doing the business was Morata (8). Richarlison and David Silva.
Completing the top ten comes Mr Ever-Present Jeff Franklin with the midfield trio of Ramsey. Sterling and Richarlison providing the significant points. Also in joint 10th comes (I call him Bryan Robson) Ibrahim Gullu, who can thank Salah’s 15 points as the only real contribution. This weeks highest scorer is (my right hand man) Tyrone Brown with 64. Thanks to of course Salah. De Bruyne (10) Murray (8) and Azpilicueta.
Unfortunately, we have to endure another international break…..So see you on the other side!
