I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON FOUR
WEEK 17
First of all. Apologies for lack of week 16 round-up where City won the derby and stretched their lead at the top. Everton got a generous pen to share the points at Anfield in the Merseyside derby. West Ham shocked Chelsea. Spurs crushed Stoke. With further wins for Burnley. Leicester. Swansea. Huddersfield and two other draws.
This week. There were convincing wins for Man City extending their new record. Chelsea. Leicester. Amazing Burnley again. Spurs. Man Utd. Everton. A late win for Palace with two 0-0 draws. In low scoring ITYIFL. Joe Hilditch maintained his lead at the top of the table with a modest 34 points but has a health 58 point lead. This weeks only significant contributors were the defensive duo of Jones (8) and Otamendi (6)
Also maintaining his positions in second place is Mr Paul Jarvis with a decent 57 point week thanks to Rooney (8). Sterling (9). Eriksen (7). Jones and Foster (10). In third and also maintaining his position is Kool FM’s Pressure X. He can thank the likes of captain Salah (6). Sterling. Richarlison (6). Jones and De Gea (11). for a healthy 50 point week.
Moving up into the Champions League positions comes Mr Ever-Present Jeff Franklin. Doing the business was captain Lukaku (10). Vardy (5). Sterling. Richarlison and Foster. Also up. Into fifth is Greg C whose only really contributors were Sterling. Alonso (6) and Lloris (9).
With a superb tally of 69, only two points from this weeks highest scorer to move up into sixth is Faliiz Brown. This is due to contributions from Okazaki (16). David Silva (16) De Bruyne (10) and De Gea (11). Also moving up into seventh with a decent haul of 58 points is Issa Banka. Thanks to captain Eriksen (14). Willian (16). Jones and De Gea.
Down into eighth place is Timothy Stigwood. Whose only contributors were Monreal (8) and captain Kane (4). Also down into ninth place is Yours Truly. I can thank contributions from Sterling. Hegazi (6). Otamendi and De Gea.
Making up the top ten comes my right hand man Tyrone Brown duo to contributions from captain Salah. Aguero (6). De Bruyne. Maguire (7) Pope (11). This week highest scorer is my youngest Latrell Miles with 71. He can thank the likes of captain Sterling (18). Rooney. Willian. Richarlison. Zaha (5). Zabaleta (6) and Vertonghen (6). Unfortunately, due to missing week 16 round-up there will no highest mover. On to week 18 y’all.
