I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON FOUR
WEEK 29
This week in the Premier League. Man City strolled to the most comfortable 1-0 you will ever see, against an ultra defensive Chelsea. Arsenal lost again, this time at Brighton 2-1. Burnley came from behind to beat Everton 2-1. Spurs beat Huddersfield 2-0. Liverpool beat Newcastle by the same score. Watford beat WBA 1-0 and Man Utd came back from two goals to snatch a 3-2 at the death at Palace. Also, Mahrez snatched a late 1-1 draw against Bournemouth with Southampton and Stoke finishing 0-0.
In the ITYFL. Just when you thought he was under pressure. League leader Joe Hilditch came up with the joint second highest score of the week, taking advantage of poor scores below him to open up a 49 point gap. Doing the business were captain Salah (16) Jordan Ayew (7). Firmino (5). Mane (8). Otamendi (6) and Lloris (6).
Kool FM’s Pressure X remains in second place but will be disappointed with his weekly tally of 37 points, where only captain Kane (10) and Mane provided any significant points. Scoring the same disappointing tally of 37 is Mr Paul Jarvis, who remains in third place. Again, the only real contributions came from captain Kane. Mane and Firmino.
Grec C stays in fourth. Closing the gap slightly. He can thank the likes of captain Kane. Firmino. Salah (8). Walker (6) and Lloris for his 49 points. In fifth, with a steady total of 47 points this week is Danny Milton. Whose main points came from captain Kane. Firmino. Salah and Mane.
Moving up into sixth place due to a decent tally of 54 is last years runner-up. Emmanuel Ogana. Thanks to points from captain Salah. Kane. Firmino. Robertson (6). Duffy (6) and Ederson (6). That sees my right hand man Tyrone Brown move down into seventh despite a decent week of 48 points, due to captain Kane. Mane. Salah and Bertrand (6).
Consolidating in eighth, but hot on the heels of seventh with a very decent 59 point week is Yours Truly. My contributors were captain Kane. Deeney (9). Salah. Mahrez (10) Otamendi and Davies (6). Halifa SS remains in ninth place due to 45 points this week. This is thanks to points from captain Kane. Firmino. Mane. Walker and Sanchez (6).
Keeping hold of a top ten place with a decent 50 points is ahm ahm Charlie Brown. Whose main points came from captain Salah. Kane. Firmino. Otamendi and Valencia (4). This weeks joint highest scorers with 63 points were Nordin Gharib, who was also this weeks highest mover, moving three places from 24th to 21st. Thanks to points from captain Kane. Jordan Ayew. Firmino. Salah. Mane. Valencia and Prodl (6). Also Jay J Mensah who can thank the likes of captain Mane (16). Deeney. Kane. Salah. Pogba (5). Bertrand and Lloris for his 63 points.
Full steam ahead to week 30. We are now entering the business end of the season ya’ll.
