I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON FIVE
WEEK 6
This week in the Premier League. Man City destroyed Cardiff 5-0 away. As did Burnley at home to Bournemouth 4-0. Liverpool cruised past Southampton at home 3-0. As did Arsenal at home to Everton 2-0. Leicester beat Huddersfield 3-1 at home. Spurs beat Brighton 2-1 away. Wolves got a very credible 1-1 draw at Man Utd. Fulham and Watford also drew 1-1. With Palace and Newcastle also surprisingly, Chelsea and West Ham drawing 0-0.
In the ITYIFL. Halifa S S holds on to the top spot by 13 points. Despite a very poor week of 38 points and will be twitching nervously. The only real contributors were captain Lukaku (4). Tarkowski (6) and Monreal (6).
Closing the gap ominously in second place is my Arsenal mate Mr James, with a very respectable score of 64 points. Doing the business were captain Aguero (12) Vardy (11) Lacazette (8). Wan-Bissaka (9). Robertson (7) and Alonso (6). In third, also scoring a respectable 64 points is newcomer Sanjay Beecher. Who can thank the likes of captain Salah (16) Aguero (6) Pogba (5) Wan-Bissaka (9) Walker (6) Delph (6) and Hennessey (8).
Another newcomer Simon Sebhat makes up the Champions League places. Whose 48 points was due to captain Hazard (6) Salah (8) Robertson (7) Walker (6) and Ederson (6). Yours Truly moves up into fifth place with a decent weekly score of 61 points. Doing the business for me were captain Aguero (12) Aubameyang (7) Sane (6) Alexander-Arnold (11) Alonso (6) and Hart (9).
Lee Barratt moves down one into sixth places. His weekly score of 45 points was thanks to captain Mane (6) Aguero (6) Sterling (6) Wan-Bissaka (9) and Hart (9). Up into seventh and this weeks joint highest scorer with 66 points is ahm Charlie Brown. This was due to captain Aguero (12) Salah (8) Alexander-Arnold (11) Wan-Bissaka (9) Sakho (6) Tarkowski (6) and Ederson (6).
In eighth place with a weekly score of 59 points is Danny Milton. Who can thank contributions from captain Aguero (12) Mitrovic (8) Wan-Bissaka (9) Alonso (6) Tomkins (5) and Ederson (6). Down into ninth is my Spurs mate Keith Wilson. Whose weekly score of 45 was mainly down to captain Aguero (12) Mitrovic (8) Salah (8) and Alonso (6).
Making up the top ten is my oldest son Romario Martin. He just held onto tenth, by two points, thanks to a weekly score of 53. Contributed by captain Kane (18) Van Aanholt (6) Alonso (6) and Ederson (6). This weeks other joint top scorer with 66 points is my long time friend Francis Norville. Who can thank the likes of captain Salah (16) Aubameyang (7) Moutinho (10) Wan-Bissaka (9) Walker (6) Alonso (6) and De Gea (5).
This weeks joint highest movers was fellow 4Corner coach Carlos Fowler, who moved up four places from 29th to 25th, due to a weekly score of 56, thanks to the likes of captain Aguero (12) Kane (9) Mitrovic (8) Salah (8) Mee (6) and Yedlin (5). Also, my youngest nephew Tahj Miles who scored 57 points and moved four places from 27th to 23rd, thanks to contributions from captain Salah (16) Aubameyang (7) Wan-Bissaka (9) Alonso (6) and Alisson (6).
