I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON FIVE
WEEK 14
This week in the Premier League. Arsenal defeated Tottenham 4-2 in a thrilling North London derby. Liverpool left it really late to beat Everton 1-0 in the Merseyside derby. West Ham were impressive at Newcastle with a convincing 3-0 win. Chelsea comfortably beat Fulham at home 2-0 in the West London derby. Man City were made to work to beat Bournemouth at home 3-1. Leicester beat Watford at home 2-0. Brighton defeated 10 man Huddersfield away 2-1. Palace beat Burnley at home 2-0. Cardiff came from behind to defeat Wolves at home 2-1 and Man Utd came from two goals down at Southampton to snatch a 2-2 in what was surprisingly Mark Hughes’ last game as Southampton manager.
In the ITYIFL. Halifa S S holds onto the top spot and even stretched the lead slightly with a weekly score of 50 points, thanks to Wilson (6) Hazard (6) Doherty (7) Alexander-Arnold (6) Wan-Bissaka (6) and Alisson (9).
My Arsenal mate Mr James remains in close contention in second place, with a weekly score of 46. This was due to points from captain Salah (6) Wilson (6) Sterling (9) Doherty (7) Wan-Bissaka (6) and Robertson (6). Ahm Charles Denton remains in third due to a weekly score of 49 points. Where he can thank contributions from vice captain Salah (6) Wilson (6) Arnoutovic (5) Hazard (6) Wan-Bissaka (6) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Balbuena (6).
Yours Truly makes up the Champions League places with a decent weekly score of 53 points. Doing the business were captain Sterling (18) Arnoutovic (5) Doherty (7) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Alonso (6). Newcomer Simon Sebhat remains in fifth place with a modest 41 point week. Where his only real contributions came from captain Hazard (12) Kante (6) Chilwell (6) and Robertson (6).
My Spurs mate Keith Wilson remains in sixth place. His 47 point week was due to vice captain Hazard (12) Wilson (6) Robertson (6) Alonso (6) and Alisson (9). Storming up into seventh place from 11th, making him this weeks joint Highest Mover, as well as, being this weeks Highest Scorer with a massive 89 points is Tommy Warner. Doing the business were vice captain Felipe Anderson (20) Aubameyang (16) Van Dijk (12) Doherty (7) Rudiger (7) Alonso (6) Robertson (6) and Fabianski (8).
Down in eighth place with a disappointing weekly score of 31 points is last seasons runner-up Greg C. Where his only contributions came from vice captain Mane (6) Jimenez (5) and Robertson (6). Up into ninth place with a very decent weekly score of 65 points is Lee Barratt. Who can thank the likes of captain Sterling (18) Jimenez (5) Hazard (6) Rudiger (7) Wan-Bissaka (6) Diop (6) and Alisson (9).
Also with an impressive weekly score of 65 points. Moving him into the top ten for the first time after a poor start is my youngest son and champion two years ago Latrell Miles. With points contributions from captain Aubameyang (32) Jimenez (5) Hazard (6) and Alexander-Arnold (6). This weeks other joint Highest Mover is my nephew Tyrell Miles-Brown. Who also scored 65 points. Allowing him to move up four places from 20th to 16th. Thanks to the likes of captain Hazard (12) Aubameyang (16) Wilson (6) Maddison (8) Van Aanholt (7) and Alonso (6).
