I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON FIVE
WEEK 19
This week in the Premier League. Leicester came from a goal down to stun Man City 2-1 at home. Everton destroyed Burnley 5-1 away. Spurs destroyed Bournemouth 5-0 at home. Liverpool destroyed Newcastle 4-0 at home. Man Utd beat Huddersfield 3-1 at home. Chelsea beat Watford 2-1 away. West Ham beat Southampton 2-1 away. Brighton and Arsenal drew 1-1 as did Fulham and Wolves. While Crystal Palace and Cardiff drew 0-0.
In the ITYIFL. Halifa S S extended the lead at the top by 20 points and really put a marker down as this weeks Highest Scorer, by recording the highest weekly score of the season so far and second highest weekly score in ITYIFL history with a mammoth score of 102 points. Doing the business were Captain Salah (24) Digne (17) Filipe Anderson (15) Pereyra (9) Aubemyang (8) Wan-Bissaka (8) Van Dijk (6) Alisson (6) and Richarlison (5).
Losing ground slightly in second is my Arsenal mate Mr James. Who still recorded an extremely respectable score of 82 points. Where he can thank the likes of captain Hazard (30) Filipe Anderson (15) Son (13) Kane (6) and Robertson (6). Newcomer Simon Sebhat remains in third with a weekly score of 63 points, mainly due to captain Hazard (30) Aubameyang (8) Van Dijk (6) and Robertson (6).
Ahm Charles Denton remains in the Champions League places. His 67 points this week was due to contributions from captain Salah (24) Alexander-Arnold (11) Wan-Bissaka (8) Alisson (6) and Richarlison (5). (I call him Bryan Robson) Ibrahim Gullu remains in fifth place, with a weekly score of 65 points. This was thanks to captain Kane (12) Filipe Anderson (15) Son (13) and Wan-Bissaka (8).
Moving up into sixth place is Tommy Warner, who would have expected to get more points off the bench from a bench boost week. Nevertheless, His 72 points was mainly contributed by captain Aubameyang (16) Filipe Anderson (15) Salah (12) Van Dijk (6) and Robertson (6). Down into seventh is my Spurs mate Keith Wilson. With a weekly score of 62, due to points from captain Aguero (8) Hazard (15) Lucas Moura (11) Pereyra (9) Robertson (6) and Alisson (6).
Down into eighth place and continuing with a disastrous December, compounded by a comedy of errors this week, which I don’t wish to go into is Yours Truly. Giving the circumstances I scored a below par weekly score of 58 points, with only likes of Son (13) Salah (12) Aubameyang (8) Robertson (6) and Peltier (6) providing any real contributions. Greg C remains in ninth place, hot on my heels. His weekly score of 63 points was mainly due to points from captain Hazard (30) Salah (12) and Robertson (6).
Storming back into the top ten with a superb weekly score of 85 points is another newcomer Sanjay Beecher. Thank to the likes of captain Salah (24) Pogba (15) Filipe Anderson (15) Aubameyang (8) Wan-Bissaka (8) and Richarlison (5). This weeks Highest Mover was Lee Barrett. Who moves up five places from 16th to 11th (10 points off the top ten) with this weeks second highest score of 89 points. Thanks to captain Hazard (30) Digne (17) Aubameyang (8) Wan-Bissaka (8) Van Dijk (6) Alisson (6) and Richarlison (5).
