WEEK 25
This week in the Premier League. Man City recorded two wins 3-1 at home to Arsenal and 2-0 away to Everton to go top on goal difference. Chelsea crushed Huddersfield 5-0 at home. Wolves beat Everton 3-1 away. Man Utd beat Leicester 1-0 away. Cardiff beat Bournemouth 2-0 at home. Spurs beat Newcastle 1-0 at home. Palace beat Fulham 2-0 at home. Leicester held Liverpool to a 1-1 draw. Burnley and Southampton also drew 1-0 with Brighton and Watford playing out a 0-0 draw.
In the ITYIFL. Mr James remains on top, but due to a relatively disappointing week for a change, of 54 points. His lead is cut considerably to just four points. Nevertheless, his main points contributions came from Son (11) Sterling (11) Rashford and Wan-Bissaka (5).
Halifa S S is hot on his heels in second place with a very decent 84 point week. This was thanks to captain Aguero (38) Son (11) David Silva (8) Rashford (7) Kepa (6) and Wan-Bissaka (5). In third and breaking the 100 point barrier is ahm Charles Denton with a superb 101 point week. This was due to points from captain Aguero (38) Laporte (20) Sterling (11) Jimenez (9) Rashford (7) and Holebas (6).
Moving up into the Champions league places with a monumental weekly score of 117 points, making him the Highest Scorer this week. This season, and recording the highest score ever in ITYIFL history, is last season’s runner up Greg C. Doing the business was captain Aguero (38) Hazard (15) David Luiz (13) Redmond (11) Milivojevic (11) Jimenez (9) Foster (8) and Duffy (6). Congrats. Down into fifth, despite a decent 84 point week is newcomer Simon Sebhat. With points from Captain Hazard (30) Laporte (20) Kante (9) Ederson (8) and Pogba (7).
Timothy Stigwood remains in sixth due to an 88 point wildcard week, thanks to the likes of Aguero (19) Laporte (20) Son (11) Jimenez (9) Rashford (7) Lindelof (7) and Doherty (5). Up into seventh is (I call him Bryan Robson) Ibrahim Gullu with a decent 89 point week. Thanks to captain Aguero (38) Milivojevic (11) Rashford (7) Alonso (6) Duffy (6) Alderweird (6) and Lloris (6)
Tommy Warner moves down into eighth with a weekly score of 59 points. His contributions came from Son (11) Azpilicueta (9) Filipe Anderson (8) Rashford (7) Alonso (6) and Doherty (5). Lee Barrett remains in ninth, due to a weekly score of 66 points thanks to Aguero (19) David Luiz (13) Sterling (11) and Pogba (7)
Moving up into the top ten is Natalie Stigwood, due to a decent 81 point week. Doing the business was Laporte (20) Hazard (15) Mane (8) Foster (8) Rashford (7) Stones (6) and Holebas (6) This weeks Highest Mover was Danny Milton who moves up five places from 21st to 16th, due to a tremendous weekly score of 104 points, moving him to fourth highest score on the all time list. This was thanks to the likes of captain Aguero (38) David Luiz (13) Son (11) Sterling (11) Trippier (8) Alonso (6) and Kepa (6)
