I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON FIVE
WEEK 29
Apologies for missing the midweek fantasy update. Where the stand out performances was Chelsea beating Spurs 2-0. Liverpool destroying Watford 5-0. Arsenal destroying Bournemouth 5-1. Man City beating West Ham 1-0 at home and Man Utd beating Palace away 3-1.
This week in the Premier League. Man Utd beat Southampton 3-2 at home. Man City beat Bournemouth away 1-0. Palace beat Burnley 3-1 away. West Ham beat Newcastle 2-0 at home. Wolves beat Cardiff at home by the same score. Watford beat Leicester 2-1 at home. Brighton beat Huddersfield 1-0 at home. Aubemayang missed a last minute penalty as Arsenal drew with Spurs 1-1 at Wembley. With Everton and Liverpool playing out a 0-0 draw at Goodison.
In the ITYIFL. My Arsenal mate Mr James remains on top spot, but not exactly sitting as comfortably as he was before. Nevertheless, he had a respectable 53 point week thanks to the likes of Jimenez (12) Zaha (9) Alisson (8) Kane (7) Robertson (5) and Wan-Bissaka (5).
In second arrives a new challenger. Ahm Charles Denton, also had a respectable week with 52 points and showing no signs of going anywhere. His points were due to Jimenez (12) Alexander-Arnold (9) Alisson (8) Deulofeu (6) and Bennett (5). In third and trying to deep pace is Halifa S S, with a weekly score of 48 points. Mainly due to contributions from captain Salah (6) Jimenez (12) Jota (11) Digne (7) and Robertson (5).
Making up the Champions League places is last years runner-up Greg C. With a very decent weekly score of 54 points. Thanks to points from Jimenez (12) Ryan (9) Duffy (9) Hazard (6) and Robertson (5). Up into fifth and really hitting some form is Tommy Warner with a superb weekly score of 61 points. This is due to captain Salah (6) Rice (15) Jimenez (12) Van Dijk (8) Fabiankski (6) and Robertson (5).
Down into sixth place is (I call him Bryan Robson) Ibrahim Gullu. With a weekly score of 40 points, where his only real contributors were Jimenez (12) and Duffy (9). Remaining in seventh is Timothy Stigwood. With a weekly score of 42, where only captain Salah (6) Jimenez (12) Pickford (7) and Boly (6) provided any significant points.
Down into eighth is newcomer Simon Sebhat with a disappointing weekly total of 35 points. With only Hazard (12) Van Dijk (8) Ederson (6) and Robertson (5) making any real contributions. Remaining in ninth, with a not much better weekly score of 37 points is Kool FM’s Pressure X. Whose points contributions came only from Van Dijk (8) Pickford (7) and Robertson (5).
Moving up into the top ten with an excellent weekly score of 64 points. Making him this weeks Highest Scorer is my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie. Doing the business was captain Jimenez (24) Alisson (8) Digne (7) Hazard (6) Deulofeu (6) and Robertson (5).
Unfortunately, no highest mover this week due to missing the midweek update. Sorry. Full steam ahead onto week 30…. We are entering the home stretch. Make it count ya’ll.
