SEASON FIVE

WEEK 31

This week in the Premier League with only half a program. West Ham came from behind to beat Huddersfield at home 4-3 in a thriller. Everton beat Chelsea 2-0 at home. Leicester beat Burnley away 2-1. Liverpool needed a late penalty to beat Fulham 2-1 away. Also, Bournemouth and Newcastle played out a 2-2 draw.

This week in ITYIFL. With limited games, inevitably, it was never going to be a high scoring week. However, my Arsenal mate Mr James remains comfortably on top and picked up a very decent weekly score of 43 points, following a free hit. Thanks to the likes of captain Salah (4) Mane (13) Sigurdsson (6) Digne (6) and Firmino (5).

Moving back up into second, 43 points off top spot is Halifa S S. With a very decent weekly score of 49 points. It was even more impressive that none of the front three played. Doing the business was captain Mane (26) Richarlison (8) and Digne (6). Down into third, but only three points behind is ahm Charles Denton, with a weekly score of 23 points. Where his only real contributions came from captain Salah (4) and Rondon (8).

Just holding onto a Champions League place is last years runner-up Greg C. With a very disappointing weekly total of 13 points. With only captain Salah (4) providing any real points. In fifth, closing the gap to just three points, due to a free hit weekly total of 37 points is Tommy Warner. Thanks to points from captain Mane (26) and Felipe Anderson (5).

Moving up into sixth place, surprisingly due to weekly total of 18 points is newcomer Simon Sebhat. With contributions from Firmino (5) and captain Robertson (4). Up into seventh, again surprisingly with a weekly score of 15 points is Timothy Stigwood, with points literally only from captain Salah (4) Pickford (9) and Fraser (2).

Also moving up, into eighth, again surprisingly with a weekly score of 15 points is Kool FM’s Pressure X. Whose only points contributions came from Pickford (9) and Liverpool trio Van Dijk (2) Robertson (2) Salah (2). These relatively low point movements up the table was due to (I call him Bryan Robson) Ibrahim Gullu moving down into ninth place after turning in a weekly score of only 2 points. With only Brooks (2) providing the points.

Moving up into tenth place with a very respectable weekly score of 32 points is Danny Milton. Who can thank the likes of captain Salah (4) Maddison (9) and Felipe Anderson (5). This weeks Highest Scorer was mr ever-present Jeff Franklin with, given the circumstances, a superb free hit weekly score of 64 points. Which also made him this weeks Highest Scorer as he moved up five places from 23rd to 18th. Thanks to points from captain Mane (26) Maddison (9) Richarlison (8) Digne (6) and Firmino (5).

Unfortunately, it’s another boring international break, so no fantasy for two weeks. See ya’ll on the other side.
