WEEK 36
This week in the Premier League. Liverpool strolled past Huddersfield 5-0 at home. West Ham etched themselves in history by becoming the first team to score and beat Tottenham in their new stadium with a 1-0. Man City beat Burnley away 1-0. Wolves beat Watford away 2-1. Leicester beat ten man Arsenal 3-0. Fulham beat Cardiff at home 1-0. Southampton and Bournemouth played out a thrilling 3-3 draw. Chelsea capitalised on a De Gea mistake to draw at Man Utd 1-1. Brighton got a vital equaliser to draw with Newcastle 1-1 and Crystal Palace played out a 0-0 draw with Everton.
In the ITYIFL. My Arsenal mate Mr James is now in touching distance of the title, thanks to a decent weekly score of 85 points. This is due to the contributions of captain Mane (26) Alexander-Arnold (10) Aguero (9) Babel (9) Wan-Bissaka (9) Jimenez (7) and Ederson (6).
Ominously moving up into second place. Making a real fight of it to close the gap to 24 points, due to a superb 106 point week. Making him this weeks Highest Scorer, also recording the second highest score this season and joint fourth all time, is ahm Charles Denton. Doing the business were captain Salah (38) Wilson (16) Alexander-Arnold (10) Aguero (9) Wan Bissaka (9) Laporte (9) and Alisson (6). Down into third is Halifa S S, with a decent enough weekly score of 86 points. This is due to captain Aguero (18) Robertson (14) Mane (13) Jota (12) Digne (8) Jimenez (7) and Schmeichel (6).
Remaining in the Champions League places is last season’s runner up Greg C, with a very commendable bench boost weekly score of 99 points. This was thanks to the likes of captain Salah (38) Robertson (14) Aguero (9) Jimenez (7) Van Dijk (6) Rice (6) and Redmond (5). In fifth, is perennial top ten man Danny Milton, with a weekly score 83 points. Thanks to triple captain Mane (39) Alexander-Arnold (10) Laporte (9) and Jimenez (7).
In sixth is Tommy Warner with a weekly score of 74 points. Due to Robertson (14) Mane (13) Jota (12) Fabianski (9) Jimenez (7) and Van Dijk (6). Moving up into seventh place is Kool FM’s Pressure X. In eighth, is my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie. With a weekly score of 86 points. Due to contributions from captain Aguero (18) Salah (19) Robertson (14) Digne (8) Jimenez (7) and Alisson (6). Down into ninth is newcomer Simon Sebhat, with given the circumstances, a slightly disappointing weekly score of 63 points. Where his points mainly came from captain Robertson (28) Van Dijk (6) Kelly (6) Ederson (6) and Chilwell (5).
Staying in the top ten by just one point is Timothy Stigwood, with a weekly score of 76 points. Thanks to captain Salah (38) Aguero (9) Jimenez (7) Pickford (6) and Fraser (5). This weeks Highest Mover was Owen Barnes, who moved up three places from 23rd to 20th, due to weekly score of 83 points.
