I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON FIVE
WEEK 38
This, in the final Premier League game week. Man City beat Brighton 4-1 away, to claim back to back titles. Liverpool beat Wolves 2-0 at home. Cardiff beat Man Utd 2-0 away. Palace beat Bournemouth 5-3 in a traditional final day thriller. Arsenal beat Burnley 3-1 away. West Ham beat Watford 4-1 away. Newcastle beat Fulham 4-0 away. Tottenham drew with Everton 2-2 at home. Southampton drew at home 1-1 with Huddersfield. Also, Leicester and Chelsea played out a 0-0 draw.
In the ITYIFL. In a crazy turn of events and the most dramatic last day in ITYFL history. Ahm Charles Denton becomes the fifth ITYFL champion. Miraculously by a mere 10 points. After an amazing and intelligent, final day, bench boost weekly score of 93 points. Which also made him this weeks Highest Scorer. Doing the historic business on the final day was captain Aguero (12) Alexander-Arnold (15) Zaha (10) Laporte (8) Alisson (6) Sterling (5). And some invaluable bench boost scores from Schar (15) and Azpilicueta (6).
Heartbroken in second. Who led the pack for weeks on end and almost looked certain for the title is my Arsenal mate Mr James. He finished with a weekly score of 59 points, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. His contributions came from captain Salah (6) Mane (15) Alexander-Arnold (15) Aguero (6) and Sterling (5). Finishing in third is Halifa S S with a final day weekly score of 56 points due to captain Aguero (12) Mane (15) Zaha (10) and Robertson (6).
Making up the Champions League places is last years runner-up Greg C. With a weekly wildcard score of 61 points, thanks to the likes of captain Aguero (12) Alexander-Arnold (15) Redmond (10) Van Dijk (6) and Rondon (6). In fifth is perennial top ten man Danny Milton, with a decent weekly score of 67 points. This was due to Mane (15) Alexander-Arnold (15) Zaha (10) Laporte (8) and Sterling (5).
Moving up into sixth place is Tommy Warner, with an impressive weekly score of 73 points. This is thanks to captain Mane (30) Aguero (6) Alonso (6) Van Dijk (6) Robertson (6) Sterling (5) and Felipe Anderson (5). Down into seventh, is my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie with a disappointing final day score of 37 points. Where his contributions really only came from captain Aguero (12) Robertson (6) and Alisson (6).
Finishing in eighth is Kool FM’s Pressure X. Due to weekly score of 50 points. This was due to captain Aguero (12) Laporte (8) Van Aanholt (7) Robertson (6) and Van Dijk (6). Up into ninth, with a decent final day weekly score of 61 points and a respectable top ten finish in his debut season, is newcomer Simon Sebhat. This was thanks to captain Robertson (12) Aubameyang (13) David Silva (9) Lerma (9) Chilwell (6) and Van Dijk (6).
Making up the top ten on the final fantasy week is Timothy Stigwood. With a disappointing weekly score of 39 points, where only captain Salah (6) Laporte (8) Townsend (7) and Aguero (6) provided any significant points. There were three Highest Movers this week. First. Yours Truly. I moved up two places from 21st to 19th. Thanks to a weekly score of 67 points, due to captain Aguero (12) Aubameyang (13) Redmond (10) Zaha (10) Laporte (8) and Sterling (5).
The second Highest Mover is my oldest nephew Tyrell Miles-Brown who moved up two places from 22nd to 20th thanks to a free hit weekly score of 77 points. Doing the business were captain Aguero (12) Mane (15) Zaha (10) Rondon (6) Deulofeu (6) Alonso (6) Robertson (6) Sterling (5) and Sigurdsson (5). This weeks final Highest Mover was Mr Paul Jarvis. Who moved up two places from 27th to 25th, due to an excellent bench boost, weekly score of 80 points. Thanks to the likes of captain Mane (30) Alexander-Arnold (15) Redmond (10) Aguero (6) and from the bench Townsend (7).
So, that’s it for another season ya’ll. All that’s left to say is CONGRATULATIONS to Charles Denton. Season Five ITYIFL CHAMPION!!!!!!! See you all in August!!!!!!
