I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON SIX
WEEK 13
This week in the Premier league, Mourinho returned to football with a win as Tottenham beat West Ham 3-2 away. Liverpool left it late again to beat Palace 2-1 away. Man City beat Chelsea at home by the same score. Norwich shocked Everton to beat them 2-0 away. Burnley humiliated Watford to beat them 3-0 away. Leicester continued their good form to beat Brighton 2-0 away. Aston Villa beat Newcastle 2-0 at home. Wolves beat Bournemouth 2-1 away and Arsenal needed a last second goal to snatch a 2-2 draw at home to Southampton.
In the ITYIFL, I think for the first time ever, or for as long as I can remember, the top ten is as you were with nobody moving positions from the last game week. So Natalie Stigwood remains on top due to a weekly score of 45 points, although her lead has been cut slightly. She can thank the likes of captain Mane (18) Soyuncu (6) and Pukki (5).
Lee Barrett has cut the lead to five points in second. This is due to a weekly score of 52 points, thanks to captain Vardy (24) De Bruyne (7) and Soyuncu (6). Just eight points behind in third is perennial top ten man Danny Milton, with a weekly score of 48, thanks to contributions from Vardy (12) De Bruyne (7) Jimenez (7) and Soyuncu (6).
Remaining in a Champions League place is my oldest mate Delroy Preddie with a weekly score of 51 points. This was due to captain De Bruyne (14) Mane (9) Jimenez (7) and Kane (6). Just 7 points off a Champions League place is Washington DC’s Greg C, with a very decent wildcard weekly score of 60 points. Doing the business were Mane (18) Vardy (12) Pereira (7) Heaton (7) and Ings (6).
In sixth, with an even better weekly score of 66 is last season’s runner up Mr James. He can thank the likes of captain Mane (18) Son (13) Vardy (12) and Chilwell (8). My right hand man Tyrone Brown is in seventh with another very decent weekly score of 62 points. This was due to contributions from captain Vardy (24) Mane (9) Jimenez (7) James (5) and Aubameyang (5).
Simon Sebhat is in eighth with a weekly score of 53 points. Thanks to contributions from the likes of Son (13) Firmino (9) Pereira (7) Robertson (6) and James (5). In ninth is Nordin Gharib who continues his recent good form with a 68 point week, which was one point off being this weeks highest scorer. He can thank the likes of captain Vardy (24) Mane (9) Pope (9) Chilwell (8) and Jimenez (7).
Remaining in tenth is last season’s third place finisher Halifa S S, with a weekly score of 42 points, thanks to contributions only really from captain Kane (12) and Vardy (12). This weeks Highest Scorer was Tommy Warner with a weekly score of 69 points, which also made him this weeks joint Highest Mover, as he moved up five places from 19th to 14th. Doing the business was captain Vardy (24) Mane (9) Chilwell (8) De Bruyne (7) Jimenez (7) and Pereira (7).
This weeks other joint Highest Mover was Natalie Holder. She also moved up five places from 20th to 15th, thanks to a weekly score of 57 points, with contributions from captain Vardy (24) Robertson (6) James (5) and Aubameyang (5).
Back from the international break, its full steam ahead to week 14, soon we will be entering the busy festive period. Make it count ya’ll….
