I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON SIX
WEEK 17
This week in the Premier League, Bournemouth shocked Chelsea 1-0 away. Man City strolled past Arsenal 3-0 away. Spurs left it very late to beat Wolves 2-1 away. Sheff Utd beat Aston Villa 2-0 at home. Liverpool beat Watford by the same score. West Ham beat Southampton 1-0 away. Burnley beat Newcastle 1-0 at home. Everton drew 1-1 at Man Utd. Norwich got a surprise 1-1 draw at Leicester and Palace got a late 1-1 draw at home to Brighton.
In the ITYIFL, Natalie Stigwood remains on top heading into the busy Christmas period with a healthy 21 point lead, thanks to a 58 point week. This was due to the likes of captain Mane (12) Lundstram (11) Sterling (10) Baldock (6) and Vardy (5).
My oldest mate Delroy Preddie remains in second closing the lead slightly with a decent 62 point week. Thanks to De Bruyne (19) Lundstram (11) Guaita (8) Alexander-Arnold (6) Mane (6) and Jimenez (5). Lee Barratt moves up to third thanks to a very decent 74 point week. This was thanks to triple captain Vardy (15) De Bruyne (19) Lundstram (11) Sterling (10) and Henderson (6).
Washington DC’s Greg C remains in the Champions League places thanks to a 51 point week. This was due to contributions from captain Vardy (10) Sterling (10) Mane (6) Baldock (6) and Alexander-Arnold (6). Perennial top ten man Danny Milton moves down into fifth due to a disappointing weekly score of 44 points and will be kicking himself for leaving De Bruyne on the bench. His only real contributors came from captain Vardy (10) Lundstram (11) and Henderson (6).
Timothy Stigwood moves up into sixth place thanks to a superb weekly score of 92 points. Doing the business was captain Salah (32) De Bruyne (19) Lundstram (11) Pukki (9) Baldock (6) and Alexander-Arnold (6). Last years runner up Mr James remains in seventh following a decent weekly score of 73 points, his contributors came from captain Salah (32) Lundstram (11) Mane (6) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Vardy (5).
Moving up into eighth place also with a decent weekly score of 73 points is Owen Barnes. He can thank the likes of captain Mane (12) De Bruyne (19) Lundstram (11) Pukki (9) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Vardy (5). Nordin Gharib moves down into ninth following a 60 point week. This was due to captain Vardy (10) Lundstram (11) Zaha (8) Mane (6) Stevens (6) Pope (6) and Jesus (5).
Also moving down, but remaining in the top ten is Simon Sebhat with a very disappointing 38 point week, with only captain Son (4) Sterling (10) Alexander-Arnold (6) and James (5) providing any significant points. This weeks Highest Scorer is my oldest nephew Tyrell Miles-Brown with a superb 101 point week, which is the 3rd highest this season and joint 8th all time. This also made him this weeks Highest Mover, as he moved up five places from 20th to 15th. Doing the business were captain Salah (32) De Bruyne (19) Sterling (10) Pukki (9) Alexander-Arnold (6) Pope (6) Tomkins (5) James (5) and Vardy (5).
We are now approaching that busy, exciting, football filled Christmas Period. Make it count ya’ll.
