WEEK 25

This week in the Premier League, Spurs did a smash and grab job to beat Man City 2-0 at home. Liverpool rode their luck then destroyed Southampton at home 4-0. Everton came from two goals down and a man down to beat Watford away 3-2. Sheff Utd beat Crystal Palace 1-0 away due to a keeper howler. Bournemouth also overcame being a man down to beat Aston Villa 2-1 at home. West Ham and Brighton played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in the London Stadium. Leicester and Chelsea also drew 2-2 in an entertaining game at the King Power stadium. Norwich drew 0-0 at Newcastle. Wolves drew 0-0 at Man Utd, also Arsenal drew at Burnley 0-0.

In the ITYIFL, Mr Ever-Present Jeff Franklin remains on top, due to a decent 65 point week. This was largely due to captain Salah (32) Firmino (11) and Alexander-Arnold (6). However, sharing the top spot with the same amount of points is perennial top ten man Danny Milton, who also turned in a decent 65 point week thanks to captain Salah (32) Alli (8) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Robertson (6).

Lee Barratt remains in third with a very decent weekly score of 76 points. He can thank the likes of captain Salah (32) Firmino (11) D.Henderson (10) Van Dijk (6) and Egan (6). Last season’s runner up Mr James moves up into a Champions League place thanks to his decent 65 point week due to captain Salah (32) Alisson (8) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Tanganga (6).

Natalie Stigwood moves up into fifth with an excellent and well played wildcard weekly score of 78 points, making her this weeks joint Highest Scorer. Doing the business were captain Salah (32) Firmino (11) Mount (10) Gomez (6) Pope (6) and Baldock (5). Timothy Stigwood also moves up, into sixth with a decent weekly score of 62 points. This was due to captain Salah (32) Rui Patricio (8) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Baldock (5).

My oldest mate Delroy Preddie continues his retched recent form, moving down into seventh with a very disappointing weekly score of 37 points. His only contributions came from vice captain De Bruyne (4) Tielemans (9) Coady (9) and Alexander-Arnold (6). Also continuing his poor recent form is Washington DC’s Greg C who moved down into eighth due to another disappointing weekly score of 33 points. His contributions were only really from captain Alexander-Arnold (12) and Van Dijk (6).

Nordin Gharib remains in ninth place due to a weekly score of 62 points. This was thanks to of course captain Salah (32) Alexander-Arnold (6) Stevens (6) and Deeney (5). Owen Barnes remains in the top ten just, despite a disappointing weekly score of 37 points. His only contributions came from captain Alexander-Arnold (12) and D.Henderson (10).

This weeks other joint Highest Scorer was my youngest nephew Tahj Miles who also scored an excellent 78 points, which saw him move up five places from 16th to 11th, just 4 points off the top ten and making him this weeks Highest Mover. This was thanks to captain Salah (32) Firmino (11) Tielemans (9) Wan-Bissaka (9) and Alexander-Arnold (6).

It will be a stagnated week 26 due to the first ever Premier League winter break. So i’ll see ya’ll in two weeks.
