WEEK 26

In very long, drawn out and fractured Premier League schedule due to the winter break. Man Utd beat Chelsea 2-0 away. Arsenal destroyed Newcastle 4-0 at home. Spurs got a stoppage time winner to beat Aston Villa 3-2 away.  Burnley beat Southampton 2-1 away. Liverpool beat Norwich 1-0 away. Man City beat West Ham at home 2-0. Everton beat Crystal Palace 3-1 at home. Sheff Utd beat Bournemouth 2-1 at home. Watford drew away at Brighton 1-1 also Leicester and Wolves played out a 0-0 draw at Molineux.

In the ITYIFL, perennial top ten man Danny Milton is now out on his own in first place by 14 points, thanks to a superb weekly score of  86, making him this weeks Highest Scorer. Doing the business were captain De Bruyne (28) Son (13) Robertson (9) Lundstram (7) Alexander-Arnold (7) Ings (7) and Grealish (6).

Mr Ever-Present Jeff Franklin is in second following a weekly score of 68 points. His contributions came from captain Salah (6) De Bruyne (14) Calvert-Lewis (11) Martial (8) Lundstram (7) Alexander-Arnold (7) and Ings (7). Lee Barratt remains in third following a 50 point week, this was due to captain Salah (6) De Bruyne (14) Soyuncu (7) Van Dijk (6) and Egan (6).

Last seasons runner up Mr James remains in the Champions League places thanks to a weekly score of 66 points. This was thanks to captain Salah (6) De Bruyne (14) Son (13) Ings (7) Alexander-Arnold (7) Grealish (6) Alisson (6). Timothy Stigwood moves up into fifth, due to a very decent weekly score of 72 points, thanks to the likes of captain Salah (6) De Bruyne (14) Rui Patricio (10) Evans (9) Lundstram (7) Alexander-Arnold (7) Ings (7) and Grealish (6).

My oldest mate Delroy Preddie has found some form and moved up into sixth, thanks to a weekly score of 62 points. This was mainly due to captain De Bruyne (28) Alexander-Arnold (7) Grealish (6) and Coady (6). Natalie Stigwood moves down into seventh, after a disappointing weekly score of 49 points. Her only real contributors came from captain Salah (6) Calvert-Lewis (11) Gomez (8) Lundstram (7) and Grealish (6).

Washington DC’s Greg C remains in eighth place with a 60 point week, this was due to captain Alexander-Arnold (14) De Bruyne (14) Ings (7) Grealish (6) Van Dijk (6) and Mane (5). Nordin Gharib remains in ninth, despite a disappointing weekly score of 47 points, where his only real contributors came from captain Salah (6) De Bruyne (14) Aubameyang (8) and Alexander-Arnold (7).

My blood brother Wayne Watson has moved back up into the top ten due to a weekly score of 66 points, this was thanks to the likes of captain Van Dijk (12) De Bruyne (14) Rui Patricio (10) Lundstram (7) Ings (7) Grealish (6) and Zaha (5). This weeks joint Highest Movers was first Yours Truly, I moved up three places from 24th to 21st, thanks to a very decent weekly score of 73 points due to captain Aguero (4) De Bruyne (14) Son (13) Calvert-Lewin (11) Henderson (7) Lundstram (7) Alexander-Arnold (7) and Williams (5).

Also, my youngest son Latrell Oscar, who moved up three places from 24th to 21st with a very decent weekly score of 71 points. This was thanks to the likes of captain De Bruyne (28) Aubameyang (8) Alexander-Arnold (7) Schmeichel (7) Van Dijk (6) Grealish (6).

Now we got all this winter break malarkey out the way, it’s full steam ahead into the last third of the season…..Make it count ya’ll.
