WEEK 29

This week in the Premier League, in the derby, Man Utd won the tactical battle to beat Man City 2-0 at home. Chelsea destroyed Everton 4-0 at home. Leicester destroyed Aston Villa 4-0 at home. Crystal Palace beat Watford 1-0 at home. Liverpool beat Bournemouth 2-1 at Anfield. Newcastle finally scored to beat 10 man Southampton 1-0 away. Arsenal were fortunate to beat West Ham 1-0 at home. Sheff Utd beat Norwich at home by the same score. Spurs needed a penalty to draw 1-1 at Burnley, also Wolves and Brighton played out a 0-0 at Molineux.

In a low scoring ITYIFL, perennial top ten man Danny Milton remains on top, but just by one point, with a weekly score of 53. This was due to captain Jimenez (4) Vardy (11) Salah (9) Saiss (8) Fernandes (6) and Patricio (6).

Closing the gap in second is Mr ever-present Jeff Franklin with a decent wildcard weekly score of 55 points, thanks to the likes of captain Aubameyang (4) Lundstram (12) McCarthy (12) Salah (9) and Fernandes (6). Timothy Stigwood moves up into third with a very decent weekly score of 69 points, due to the likes of captain Salah (18) Lundstram (12) Vardy (11) Baldock (6) Patricio (6) and Evans (5).

Lee Barratt moves down into fourth with a weekly score of 45 points, with contributions from Salah (9) Henderson (7) Van Dijk (6) Alonso (6) and Fernandes (6). Last seasons runner up Mr James moves down into fifth, with a weekly score of 46 points. This was due to captain Aubameyang (4) Salah (9) Saiss (8) Boly (8) and Fernandes (6).

My oldest mate Delroy Preddie remains in sixth, but makes up ground with a very decent 67 point week. This was thanks to vice captain Vardy (22) Lundstram (12) Guaita (10) Coady (7) and Ayew (6). Natalie Stigwood remains in seventh with a decent weekly score of 57 points, this was thanks to captain Salah (18) Vardy (11) Mount (6) Baldock (6) and Evans (5).

Washington DC’s Greg C remains in eighth but also makes up ground on the above teams with an excellent 73 point week. This was due to contributions from captain Mane (26) Vardy (11) Ryan (7) Van Dijk (6) Azpilicueta (6) and Evans (5). Halifa S S moves up into ninth place with a decent weekly score of 59 points, thanks to captain Fernandes (12) Salah (9) Martial (8) D.Henderson (7) Wan-Bissaka (7) and Van Dijk (6).

Nordin Gharib moves down, but remains in the top ten despite a disappointing weekly score of 38 points. His only real contributions came from captain Aubameyang (4) Salah (9) Fernandes (6) and Stevens (6). This weeks Highest Scorer was my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie with a superb weekly score of 81 points, which also made him this weeks Highest Mover as he moved up six places from 25th to 19th. Doing the business were captain Mane (26) Lundstam (12) Vardy (11) Alli (7) Wan-Bissaka (7) Patricio (6) and Evans (5).
