I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON SEVEN
WEEK 11
This week in the Premier League with one less game due to the Aston Villa v Newcastle game falling foul to covid. Tottenham comfortably strolled past Arsenal 2-0 at home. Liverpool rolled past Wolves 4-0 at home. Man Utd again came from behind and again was on the right side of a dubious VAR call to beat West Ham 3-1 away. Southampton also got a dubious VAR penalty to beat Brighton 2-1 away. Chelsea beat Leeds 3-1 at Stamford Bridge. Palace were helped by a dubious VAR sending off to beat West Brom 5-1 away. Leicester got a last minute goal to break Sheff Utd hearts with a 2-1 away win. Man City beat Fulham at home 2-0, also Burnley and Everton played out a 1-1 draw at Turf Moor.
In the ITYIFL, Lee Barratt is sitting pretty at the top of the table for a sixth week, with a 13 point lead, leaving the chasing pack to fight amongst themselves, thanks to a very decent weekly score of 75 points. This was thanks to the likes of captain Fernandes (12) Salah (14) Son (12) Kane (12) Bamford (8) and Calvert-Lewin (6).
Moving up into second is perennial top ten man Danny Milton, also with a very decent 75 point weekly score. Thanks to captain Mahrez (8) Zaha (18) Son (13) Kane (12) Vardy (8) Fernandes (6) and Walker-Peters (5). My Arsenal mate Mr James remains in third, only two point off second, following a very decent 78 point week. This was due to captain De Bruyne (28) Son (13) Kane (12) Fernandes (6) Calvert-Lewin (6) and James (5).
The defending champion Jeff Franklin moves down into fourth, but just a point off third, following a weekly score of 60 points. His contributions came from captain Fernandes (12) Salah (14) Son (13) Calvert-Lewin (6) Werner (5) and Walker-Peters (5). Continuing to fly the flag for the ladies, Natalie Holder remains in fifth, with a decent 68 point week. This was due to captain Fernandes (12) Kane (12) Bamford (8) Zouma (8) Calvert-Lewin (6) Robertson (6) and Walker-Peters (5).
This weeks Highest Scorer is former champ ahm Charles Denton, with a mammoth 92 point weekly score, that sees him move up to sixth place. Doing the business were captain Salah (28) Kane (12) Vestergaard (9) Zouma (8) Bamford (8) Ederson (6) Dias (6) Calvert-Lewin (6) and Ward-Prowse (5). Simon Sebhat moves down to seventh, following a 62 point week, with contributions from captain Fernandes (12) Son (13) Vardy (8) Bamford (8) Calvert-Lewin (6) Concelo (6) and James (5).
My youngest son Latrell Oscar moves up into eighth place, due to very decent 76 point week. This was thanks to captain Kane (24) Zaha (18) Son (13) Calvert-Lewin (6) and Van Aanholt (5). This weeks Highest Mover was Owen Barnes, who moved moved up six places from 15th, into the top ten in ninth, thanks to a superb weekly score of 84 points. He can thank the likes of captain Fernandes (12) De Bruyne (14) Son (13) Kane (12) Vestergaard (9) Zouma (8) and Bamford (8).
Moving down, but just staying in the top ten via a solitary point is my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie, with a weekly score of 63 points. This was due to contributions from captain Mahrez (8) Son (13) Kane (12) Fernandes (6) Calvert-Lewin (6) Robertson (6) and Werner (5).
The league is starting to take shape now. Full steam ahead to week 12 y’all…..
