I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON SEVEN
WEEK 13
This midweek in the Premier League, Liverpool got a late winner at Anfield to beat Spurs in the top of the table clash. Wolves also got a late winner to beat Chelsea at home. Everton beat Leicester 2-0 away. Man Utd came from a goal down again to beat Sheff Utd 3-2 away. Leeds got three late goals to beat Newcastle 5-2 at home. 10 man Arsenal got a 1-1 draw at home to Southampton. 10 man Crystal Palace drew 1-1 at West Ham. Somehow, Burnley got a 0-0 draw at Aston Villa and WBA surprisingly got a 1-1 draw at Man City, but it didn’t save Slaven Bilic who was sacked soon after.
In a relatively low scoring ITYIFL, perennial top ten man Danny Milton holds onto the top spot and actually extended his lead from one point to three, due to a 43 point weekly score. This was thanks to captain Fernandes (4) Son (9) Martinez (8) Bamford (6) and Chilwell (5).
Lee Barratt remains in second with a weekly score of 45 points, and might be ruing the two transfers which took four points from his total, that would have seen him top the league (depending on the players). His contributions came from captain Fernandes (4) Son (9) Dallas (7) Bamford (6) and Calvert-Lewin (5). Defending champion Jeff Franklin continues to close the gap, which is now just five points, thanks to a 50 point week. This was due to captain Fernandes (4) Son (9) Salah (7) Targett (6) Calvert-Lewin (5) Wilson (5) and Chilwell (5).
Making up the Champions League places is Natalie Holder, who moves down one, following a weekly score of 38 points. Her only real contributions came from captain Fernandes (4) Martinez (8) Bamford (6) Robertson (5) and Cavert-Lewin (5). My Arsenal mate Mr James remains in fifth, following a 42 point week. This was thanks to captain De Bruyne (8) Son (9) Lamptey (6) and Calvert-Lewin (5).
Owen Barnes continues his good form and continues to move up the table into sixth place, with a very decent 55 point weekly score. Doing the business was captain Fernendes (4) Son (9) Neto (9) Martinez (8) Bamford (6) Calvert-Lewin (5) Chilwell (5). This sees former champ ahm Charles Denton move down one into seventh, with a weekly score of 40 points, where his only real contributions came from captain Salah (14) Bamford (6) and Calvert-Lewin (5).
Washington DC’s Greg C also moves down into eighth place, following a weekly score of 37 points. With captain Fernandes (4) Salah (7) Lamptey (6) and Wilson (5) and Klich (4) providing any significant points. This weeks joint Highest Mover was my youngest son Latrell Oscar, who moved up three places from 12th, back into the top ten in 9th place. This was due to a 45 point week, thanks mainly to captain Son (18) Wilson (5) Calvert-Lewin (5) and Chilwell (5).
My old skool mate Derick Fredericks moves down one, but remains in the top ten with a weekly score of 42 points. This was due to captain De Bruyne (8) Son (9) Martinez (8) and Calvert-Lewin (5). This weeks Highest Scorer was Nordin Gharib, who scored a triple captain assisted 76 point week. Unsurprisingly, this also made him this weeks joint Highest Mover, as he moved up three places from 20th to 17th. Doing the business were triple captain Rashford (42) Son (9) Alioski (8) and Calvert-Lewin (5).
It’s another quick turnaround to the weekend games to make it count y’all
