I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON SEVEN
WEEK 22
This week in the Premier League, Brighton stunned Liverpool beating them 1-0 at Anfield. Man Utd equalled a recored by beating Southampton 9-0 at home. Chelsea beat Tottenham 1-0 away. West Ham beat Aston Villa 3-1 away. Everton beat Leeds 2-1 away. Wolves beat 9 man Arsenal 2-1 at home. Crystal Palace beat Newcastle 2-1 away. Man City beat Burnley 2-0 away and Leicester beat Fulham away by the same score.
In the ITYIFL, Lee Barratt continues to lead the way and has stretched his lead slightly to 13 points, continuing his good form into February after finishing January with the second highest score. He scored a decent 77 point week, thanks to Fernandes (17) Justin (15) Calvert-Lewin (9) Sterling (8) Grealish (6) Stones (6) Cavani (5) and Ederson (5).
Perennial top ten man Danny Milton remains within touching distance in second. The January manager of the month recorded a decent 70 point week, due to the likes of Fernandes (17) Calvert-Lewin (9) Soucek (9) Gundogan (8) Stones (6) Bamford (5) and Digne (5). However, he would have topped the league if he didn’t leave 15 point Justin on the bench. In third, the defending champion Jeff Franklin lost some ground on the top two, following a slightly disappointing 54 point weekly score. His contributions came from Fernandes (17) Rashford (9) Gundogan (8) Wilson (5) and Bamford (5).
Flying the flag for the ladies, Natalie Holder has moved up into the Champions League places, following a superb 91 point week. Doing the business were captain Fernandes (34) Justin (15) Sterling (8) Antonio (8) Stones (6) Wilson (5) and Bamford (5). This sees my Arsenal mate Mr James move down one to fifth, due to his slightly disappointing, given the circumstances, 55 point weekly score. His contributions came from Maddison (11) Sterling (8) Gundogan (8) Stones (6) Wilson (5) and Bamford (5).
Former champ ahm Charles Denton remains in sixth place, following a decent 88 point week. He can thank the likes of Fernandes (17) Justin (15) Calvert-Lewin (9) Soucek (9) Antonio (8) Gundogan (8) Grealish (6) Stones (6) and Ederson (5). My middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie remains in seventh, with a superb 90 point weekly score. This was thanks to Fernandes (17) Justin (15) Alzate (11) Calvert-Lewin (9) Neto (8) Stones (6) Cancelo (6) Wilson (5) and Bamford (5).
Resuming his domestic battle with his older brother, moving up two places into eighth, making him this weeks joint Highest Mover, is my youngest son and January’s third highest scorer, Latrell Oscar. He scored a very decent 87 point week, thanks to the likes of captain Fernandes (34) Maddison (11) Antonio (8) Grealish (6) Stones (5) Cancelo (5) Wilson (5) Werner (5) and Maguire (5). The women are well represented in the top ten, as Natalie Stigwood’s 75 point week keeps her in ninth place. Thanks to Fernandes (17) Justin (15) Jesus (9) Gundogan (8) Grealish (6) Stones (6) and Bamford (5).
Washington DC’s Greg C moves down, but remains in the top ten following a slightly disappointing 56 point weekly score. His contributions came from captain Sterling (16) Fernandes (17) Calvert-Lewin (9) Watkins (6) and Wilson (5). But will no doubt rue the minus seven point contribution from Bednarek and leaving nine point Soucek on the bench. This weeks Highest Scorer was Muhamad Ramdhan, with an excellent 94 point weekly score, which moved him up two places from 21st to 19th, also making him this weeks joint Highest Mover. Doing the business was captain Fernandes (34) Justin (15) Jesus (9) Sterling (8) Antonio (8) Cancelo (6) and De Gea (6).
Full steam ahead to week 23 y’all, make it count.
