I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON SEVEN
WEEK 25
This week in the Premier League, Everton won their first derby in a decade as they beat Liverpool 2-0 at Anfield. West Ham beat Tottenham 2-1 at home in a London derby. Leicester beat Aston Villa 2-1 away. Man City beat Arsenal 1-0 away, to extend their recording breaking winning run to 18 games. Man Utd beat Newcastle 3-1 at home. Wolves beat Leeds 1-0 at home. In a real relegation battle Fulham beat Sheff Utd 1-0 at home. Southampton drew 1-1 with Chelsea at home and West Brom played over an hour with 10 men to get a 0-0 draw at Burnley. Also in the week, Crystal Palace got literally a last second goal to beat Brighton 2-1 away and Leeds brushed Southampton aside 3-0 at home.
In the ITYIFL, perennial top ten man Danny Milton remains on top and actually stretched his lead to 23 points, due to a decent 76 point week. This was thanks to the likes of captain Bamford (16) Fernandes (12) Raphinha (12) Pope (8) Antonio (7) Lowton (6) and Stones (6).
Losing ground slightly in second, in what could be a two horse race is Lee Barratt, following a 65 point week. This was due to captain Bamford (16) Fernandes (12) Sterling (8) Keane (7) Stones (6) and Ederson (6). In third, and also losing ground, is defending champion Jeff Franklin, with a slightly disappointing 58 point weekly score. His only real contributions came from captain Bamford (16) Fernandes (12) and Rashford (12).
In fourth, and closing the gap on third to 20 points, due to a superb 91 point week. Making him this weeks Highest Scorer is my Arsenal mate Mr James. Doing the business were captain Bamford (16) Dallas (17) Fernandes (12) Raphinha (12) Maddison (9) Pope (8) and Digne (7). Former champ, ahm Charles Denton was the only mover in the top ten, he moved up one place to fifth, following a decent 75 point week. This was thanks to captain Fernandes (24) Dallas (17) Tarkowski (9) Bamford (8) and Stones (6).
This sees Natalie Holder move down one into sixth, but just 3 points behind, following a slightly disappointing 58 point weekly score, with contributions from captain Ings (6) Fernandes (12) Sterling (8) Pope (8) Bamford (8) and Stones (6). Natalie Stigwood is in seventh, following a 64 point week. Due to captain Bamford (16) Fernandes (12) Struijk (8) Stones (6) Areola (6) and Vardy (5).
My middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie remains in eighth, following his slightly disappointing weekly score of 58 points. His contributions were only really from captain Bamford (16) Fernandes (12) Stones (6) and Cancelo (5). Owen Barnes remains in ninth, but just a point behind, thanks to a wildcard weekly score of 70 points. This was thanks to captain Fernandes (24) Barnes (13) Maddison (9) Bamford (8) and Cancelo (5).
My youngest son Latrell Oscar remains in the top ten, just three points off ninth, thanks to a very decent 80 point weekly score. His contributions came from captain Bamford (16) Dallas (17) Fernandes (12) Maddison (9) Antonio (7) Vardy (5) Maguire (5) and Cancelo (5). This weeks joint Highest Movers were Yours Truly, I moved up two places from 15th to 13th, thanks to a decent 72 point week. This was due to the likes of captain Sterling (16) Fernandes (12) Maddison (9) Bamford (8) Pope (8) Lowton (6) and Cancelo (5).
Also, my old skool mate Derick Fredericks, who moved up two places from 19th to 17th thanks to a decent 78 point week. This was thanks to contributions from captain Sterling (16) Dallas (17) Fernandes (12) Rashford (12) and Antonio (7)
Full steam ahead to week 26, it will be a double week for many teams so make it count y’all.
