Fantasy Football S7 WEEK 28 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON SEVEN

WEEK 28

This week in the Premier League, Arsenal needed a penalty to beat Spurs 2-1 in the North London derby. Burnley surprised Everton beating them 2-1 away. Leicester destroyed managerless Sheff Utd 5-0 at home. Man Utd needed an own goal to beat West Ham 1-0 at home. Man City bushed Fulham aside 3-0 away. Brighton beat Southampton 2-1 away. Liverpool beat Wolves away 1-0 with a goal from Jota against his old club. Palace needed a penalty to beat West Brom 1-0 at home. Villa got a late goal, but Newcastle to an even later equaliser to draw 1-1 at Villa Park. Also surprisingly, Leeds drew 0-0 at home with Chelsea.

In a relatively low scoring ITYIFL, which will benefit the league leader. Perennial top ten man Danny Milton had his lead at the top was cut, due to a slightly disappointing 39 point weekly score. His only real contributions came from captain Kane (4) Stones (14) and Calvert-Lewin (6).

Given the circumstances, Lee Barratt had a significant week, with a decent 55 point weekly score, cutting the lead at the top to 25 points. This was manly thanks to vice captain Stones (28) Calvert-Lewin (6) and Watkins (5). My Arsenal mate Mr James, no doubt very happy with the North London derby, remains just in touching distance, thanks to a decent 53 point week. This was mainly due to captain Kane (4) Iheanacho (17) Stones (14) and Dallas (6).

The defending champion Jeff Franklin’s title defence is beginning to look futile, following another disappointing weekly score. His 33 point week, was only due mainly to captain Fernandes (6) Adams (8) and Targett (4). This weeks Highest Scorer, by some distance is former champ ahm Charles Denton, with a superb 88 point week. Doing the business were captain Vardy (26) Stones (14) Dunk (10) Shaw (9) Calvert-Lewin (6) Dallas (6) and Ederson (6).

Natalie Holder moves down to sixth, following her weekly score of 43 points, with contributions from vice captain Kane (4) Stones (14) and Calvert-Lewin (6). Owen Barnes remains in seventh, following his 42 point week. This was due to the likes of captain Fernandes (6) Cancelo (12) Dias (6) and Targett (4).

Moving up into eighth is Natalie Stigwood, due to a 49 point weekly score. This was thanks mainly to Vardy (13) Stones (14) and Struijk (6). This sees my youngest son Latrell Oscar move down to ninth, following a 46 point weekly score. His contributions came from Vardy (13) Cancelo (12) and Dallas (6).

Hot on his heels, just six points behind, in a domestic battle I am really enjoying is his older brother, my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie, with a 45 point weekly score. This was due to the likes of captain Fernandes (6) Cancelo (12) Calvert-Lewin (6) Robertson (6) and Dallas (6). This weeks Highest Mover was Tommy Warner. He moved up three places from 16th to 13th, thanks to a very decent 67 point week. Doing the business were captain Vardy (26) Stones (14) Calvert-Lewin (6) and Dallas (6).

It will be a very reduced week 29, with only four games due to the FA Cup. Nevertheless, make it count y’all.
