I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON SEVEN
WEEK 30
This week in the Premier League, Man City beat Leicester away 2-0. Liverpool beat Arsenal 3-0 away. WBA beat 10 man Chelsea 5-2 at Stamford Bridge. Southampton came back from two goals down to beat Burnley 3-2 at home. Aston Villa came back from a goal down to beat Fulham 3-1 at home. Man Utd also came back from a goal down to beat Brighton 2-1 at home. Leeds beat Sheff Utd at home by the same score. West Ham held off a Wolves fight back to beat them 3-2 away. Newcastle got a late equaliser to draw at home with Spurs 2-2 and Crystal Palace got an even later equaliser to draw at Everton 1-1.
In the ITYIFL it was very much as you were with no movement in the top ten, which will suit perennial top ten man Danny Milton. He scored a somewhat disappointing wildcard weekly score of 40 points. His contributions came mainly from captain Alonso (6) Kane (13) Raphinha (6) and Fernandes (5).
This gave Lee Barratt in second an opportunity to close the gap slightly, with a 56 point weekly score. This was thanks to captain Kane (26) Watkins (7) Raphinha (6) and Fernandes (5). My Arsenal mate Mr James remain in third, losing ground on the top two due to his 43 point weekly score. He can only really thank captain Bamford (4) Kane (13) Raphinha (6) and Fernandes (5).
In fourth is the defending champion Jeff Franklin, who scored a 49 point week, to close the gap on third to 20 points. His contributions came from captain Fernandes (10) Lingard (12) Salah (8) and Mount (6). In fifth, former champ, ahm Charles Denton closes the gap on fourth to just 7 points, thanks to a decent 50 point weekly score. This was due to captain Bamford (4) Lingard (12) Salah (8) Raphinha (6) Fernandes (5) and Ederson (5).
Another former champ, my youngest son Latrell Oscar sits in sixth place and gained a bit of ground on the above, due to a very decent 56 point week. This was thanks mainly to captain Kane (26) Lingard (12) and Fernandes (5). Natalie Holder remains in seventh following a 46 point weekly score, with her only real contributions coming from captain Kane (26) and Fernandes (5).
Hot on her heels is Natalie Stigwood in eighth place, with a decent weekly score of 51 points. This was due to captain Kane (26) Salah (8) Mount (6) and Fernandes (5). Just two points behind in ninth is Owen Barnes, with a very decent 54 point week. Thanks to the likes of captain Fernandes (10) Kane (13) Salah (8) Mount (6) and Dias (6).
My middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie remains in the top ten, thanks also to a very decent 54 point week. This was due to contributions from captain Fernandes (10) Kane (13) Salah (8) Robertson (7) and Neto (5). This weeks Highest Scorer was Sanjay Beecher who scored a very decent 61 point weekly score, thanks mainly to to captain Kane (26) Lingard (12) and Salah (8).
This week there were only four managers in the league who improved their positions, and all moved up just one place. Nordin Gharib moved from 12th to 11th thanks to a 59 point weekly score. My old skool mate Derick Fredericks moved up (above me) from 17th to 16th due to a 54 point week. Muhamad Ramdhan moved up from 20th to 19th, due to his 46 point week. Also, Kool FM’s Pressure X moved up from 22nd to 21st, thanks to a 50 point weekly score….
Full steam ahead to week 31, make it count y’all.
