Bio: Before I start, let me just say that it will be extremely difficult to get this player, at least early on, as when the game starts Ajax have just purchased him for £21m. However, after a good few season into the game, if all the stars align, you monitor his progress and play your cards to perfection and obviously have the funds, bringing him in would be one of the best pieces of business you would do. No matter where he plays, he will be one of the main men. Although he can play in numerous positions (a huge plus) I often preferred him on the left of a forward three. His superb dribbling abilities allowed him to glide past players, and what was a surprise to me was his conversion rate for goals was exceptional. Also, because of his dribbling ability, he would often create chances for his team mates, if it was just drawing the attention to him and creating space for others, or him beating players, then picking a pass. He is an all action, get the crowd off their feet type of flair player, where something was always likely to happen when he has the ball at his feet. A typical or quintessential Brazilian attacker, who at times was also effective playing on the right side of a 4231, where he would cut inside and score with his wand of a left foot. He also became a fully fledged Brazil international from his early 20’s and really made a name for himself in club and international football.
