Fantasy Football S7 WEEK 37 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON SEVEN

WEEK 37

This, in the penultimate week in the Premier League. Chelsea got a little revenge for the FA Cup defeat by beating Leicester 2-1 at home to strengthen their grip while denting Leicester’s for the Champions League. Liverpool strolled past Burnley 3-0 away to sneak into fourth. Aston Villa beat Spurs 2-1 away in another game that will effect European qualification. Brighton came from two goals down in a thriller to beat the 10 man champions Man City 3-2. West Ham further strengthened their European prospects by beating West Brom 3-1 away. Arsenal beat Crystal Palace 3-1 away in Roy Hodgson’s last home game. Leeds beat Southampton 2-0 away. Everton beat Wolves 1-0 at home. Newcastle beat Sheff Utd 1-0 at home and Fulham drew away at Man Utd 1-1.

In the ITYIFL, perennial top ten man Danny Milton is one week away from being crowned the season seven champions, with a modest but steady 42 point weekly score, which still leaves him with a handsome lead going into the final week. This was thanks mainly to captain Greenwood (4) Firmino (8) Alexander-Arnold (6) Cresswell (5) and Mahrez (5).

In second, making a gallant effort but seemingly leaving it too little too late, is Lee Barratt, with a superb 76 point week, making him this weeks Highest Scorer. Doing the business was captain Fernandes (8) Robertson (15) Bamford (12) Foden (10) Cavani (9) Keane (7) and Lingard (7). Cementing his position in the top for and almost cementing a third place finish is the outgoing defending champ Jeff Franklin, with a decent weekly score of 52 points. Thanks to captain Salah (6) Bamford (12) Willock (11) Iheanacho (6) and Dallas (5).

Holding down a Champions League place in fourth is Mr James, with a decent 56 point week. His contributions came from captain Salah (6) Watkins (9) Antonio (9) Iheanacho (6) Alexander-Arnold (6) Cresswell (5) and Dallas (5). In fifth is my youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar, who is still hoping for a top four finish, despite losing some ground with a 51 point week. This was due to captain Fernandes (8) Cavani (9) Digne (8) Alexander-Arnold (6) Iheanacho (6) and Dallas (5).

Closing the distance on fifth to just five points, is another former champ Charles Denton with an excellent bench boost weekly score of is 72 points. Thanks to captain Kane (4) Willock (11) Antonio (9) Gundogan (7) and Dallas (5) also off the bench Philipps (13) and Iheanacho (6). My middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie remains in seventh, following a decent 58 point weekly score, this was due to captain Salah (6) Robertson (15) Digne (8) Colemant (6) Iheanacho (6) and Dallas (5).

Sanjay Beecher remains in ninth place, confident of a top ten finish in his second season, due to a 50 point week, with contributions mainly from captain Kane (4) Philipps (13) Digne (8) Iheanacho (6) and Dallas (5). Just four points behind in ninth is Natalie Holder, who also looks as though she will secure an impressive top ten finish in her second season. This was thanks also to a 50 point weekly score, due to captain Alexander-Arnold (12) Lingard (7) Pereira (7) Iheanacho (6) and Cresswell (5).

Making up the top ten is Nordin Gharib with his decent weekly score of 58 points, thanks to the likes of captain Salah (6) Watkins (9) Richarlison (9) Lingard (7) Sigurdsson (6) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Dallas (5). There was no highest mover this week as only two managers moved places and both only moved up one place. Muhamad Ramdhan and my oldest nephew Tyrell Miles-Brown.

On to the final week of the Premier League season, so one last time, make it count y’all.
