SEASON EIGHT 

WEEK 11

This week in the Premier League, Man City eased past Man Utd 2-0 at Old Trafford. West Ham beat Liverpool at home 3-2 in the game of the week. Norwich got their first win of the season beating Brentford 2-1 away, although it didn’t save their managers job. Crystal Palace beat Wolves 2-0 at home. Arsenal beat Watford 1-0 at home with a goal full of controversy. Burnley unexpectedly drew 1-1 at Chelsea. Newcastle drew 1-1 at Brighton and Leicester scored an instant equaliser to draw 1-1 at Leeds.

In a relatively low scoring ITYIFL, Danny Milton continues to annoy everyone with his consistency, as he maintains a 51 point lead at the top. This was thanks to his 47 point weekly score with contributions from captain Salah (10) Alexander-Arnold (12) Raphinha (9) and Livramento (6).

My youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar remains in second, closing the distance slightly with a decent weekly score of 52 points. Thanks to captain Salah (10) Gallagher (11) Raphinha (9) Ramsdale (7) and Tomiyasu (5). Washington DC’s Greg Cabana remains in third, also closing the distance with a very decent 58 point week. This was thanks to captain Salah (10) Alexander-Arnold (12) Zaha (8) Livramento (6) Dias (6) and Guita (6).

Moving up into the Champions League places is Sanjay Beecher, thanks to a very decent 56 point week. This was due to captain Salah (10) Alexander-Arnold (12) Smith Rowe (8) White (8) and Lloris (6). This sees former champ Jeff Franklin move down one to fifth, following his not too shabby 48 point weekly score. With contributions came from captain Salah (10) Gallagher (11) Smith Rowe (8) Livramento (6) and Tomiyasu (5).

My coaching partner Francis Norville remains in sixth, but makes some headway towards the above managers thanks to a superb weekly score of 60 points. Doing the business were captain Salah (10) Cancelo (14) Bowen (9) Smith Rowe (8) and White (8). My right hand man Tyrone Brown moves up to seventh, following a 40 point week. His contributions came from captain Salah (10) B.Silva (8) and James (7).

My old work colleague Mr James also moves up, to eighth, thanks to very decent 55 point weekly score. This was due to the likes of captain Salah (10) Raphinha (9) Smith Rowe (8) James (7) and Ramsdale (7). This all sees Yours Truly move down to ninth place. I had a very disappointing week, scoring only 29 points, where my only real contributions came from Smith Rowe (8) Livramento (6) and Salah (5).

Nordin Gharib moves up into the top ten thanks to a decent weekly score of 53 points, Where he can thank the likes of captain Salah (10) Alexander-Arnold (12) Foster (11) and Havertz (8). This week’s Highest Scorer was Owen Barnes with an excellent 63 point weekly score, which also made him this week’s joint Highest Mover as he moved up five places from 17th to 12th. This was thanks to captain Salah (10) Cancelo (14) Gallagher (11) James (7) Dias (6) and Ederson (6).

This week’s other joint Highest Mover was Natalie Holder, whose very decent 54 point week moved her up five places from 19th to 14th. This was due to the likes of captain Salah (10) Cancelo (14) Alexander-Arnold (12) and Smith Rowe (8).
