I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON EIGHT
WEEK 15
This week in the Premier League, West Ham maintained they good form against the top teams, beating Chelsea 3-2 at home. Everton came from a goal down to beat Arsenal 2-1 at home. Aston Villa beat Leicester 2-1 at home. Liverpool needed a stoppage time winner to beat Wolves 1-0 away. Tottenham brushed Norwich aside 3-0 at home. Man City beat Watford 3-1 away. Man Utd beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at home. Newcastle got their first win of the season beating Burnley 1-0 at home. Leeds scored with literally the last kick of the game to draw 2-2 at home to Brentford and Brighton got their second late equaliser in a week to draw 1-1 at Southampton.
In the ITYIFL, like true champions, Danny Milton bounced back from a mediocre few weeks, with his lead at the top under a little threat to put up an impressive 68 point weekly score and consolidate his top spot. Doing the business were captain Son (26) Mount (13) Alexander-Arnold (9) Salah (6) and Antonio (5).
After a few good weeks, my youngest son and former champ Latrell Oscar loses ground slightly, despite a decent 56 point week. This was due to captain Salah (12) Son (13) Wilson (9) and Van Dijk (7). Sanjay Beecher remains in third place, following his decent 58 point weekly score. Thanks to the likes of captain Salah (12) Bernardo (15) Son (13) and Alexander-Arnold (9).
Washington DC’s Greg Cabana remains in the Champions League places, thanks to his decent 53 point week. This was due to captain Salah (12) Alexander-Arnold (9) Wilson (9) Antonio (5) and Mbeumo (5). My coaching partner Francis Norville continues his recent good form, as he moves up to fifth place despite a relatively mediocre 46 point weekly score. His contributions came mainly from captain Salah (12) Bowen (11) and Alexander-Arnold (9).
Former champ Jeff Franklin moves down to sixth, following a disappointing weekly score of 32 points, with only captain Salah (12) and Raphinha making any signification contributions. November’s manager of the month Owen Barnes remains in seventh with a 42 point week. This was thanks mainly to captain Salah (12) Bernardo (15) and Antonio (5).
In eighth, also maintaining his position, is my old work colleague Mr James due to a weekly score of 53 points. This was thanks to captain Salah (12) Bernardo (15) Alexander-Arnold (9) and Raphinha (5). Kool FM’s Pressure X continues his recent good form, as he moves up to ninth, thanks to 56 point week. This was due to the likes of captain Salah (12) Bernardo (15) Alexander-Arnold (9) Van Dijk (7) and Manquillo (5).
Just clinging onto tenth is my right-hand man Tyrone Brown, following a 47 point weekly score, with contributions from captain Salah (12) Bernardo (15) Antonio (5) and Raphinha (5). This week’s Highest Scorer is Yours Truly. I scored a very impressive weekly score of 75 points, which moved me up six places from 17th to 11th making me this week’s Highest Mover. Doing the business were captain Son (26) Bernardo (15) Mount (13) Salah (6) and Manquillo (5).
Full steam ahead to week 16, make it count y’all.
