He has a wound of a left foot and due to this takes corners, free kicks and penalties. However, he is capable on his right foot and can pick passes from either.
I had him later in his career and all I can think was I wished I had him earlier.
He is a very reliable and ultra-consistent performer. His calm and composure on the ball oozes class and although he can dribble and beat players with ease, he can also sit deep and use his vision and passing ability to create chances for teammates.
When he was playing for me, he was more of an intelligent, dictator of play from midfield.
But every now and again I would play him left or right attacking midfield, and he would show that attacking flair and skill, running at and committing players, or putting devastating crossing in the box.
He became a regular Portuguese international which wasn’t surprising as he was always had decent stats for goals, assists and average rating.
