I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE
SEASON NINE
WEEK 3
This week in the Premier League, Leeds surprised one and all by beating Chelsea 3-0 at home. Man Utd got their first points of the season by beating lacklustre Liverpool 2-1 at home. Arsenal brushed Bournemouth aside 3-0 away. In an exciting encounter, Fulham beat Brentford 3-2 at home. Brighton surprisingly beat West Ham 2-0 away. Crystal Palace beat Aston Villa 3-1 at home. Tottenham beat Wolves 1-0 at home. In the game of the season so far, Man City drew at Newcastle 3-3 and Everton got a late equaliser to draw 1-1 at home with Notts Forest.
In the ITYIFL, we have joint league leaders. Natalie Stigwood retains her top spot from last week thanks to a decent 57 point weekly score. This was due to captain Haaland (12) Zaha (12) Toney (8) Kane (6) Martinelli (6) and Zinchenko (6). Joining her at the top is my old football clubmate, Darren Ahmet. This was due to a very decent 60 point week, thanks to the likes of captain Salah (16) Saliba (14) Martinelli (6) Haaland (6) Trippier (6) Zinchenko (6) and Jesus (4).
This sees Timothy Stigwood move down one to third, following his weekly score of 52 points. This was due to the likes of captain Salah (16) Ward-Prowse (7) White (7) Trippier (6) Henderson (4) and Jesus (4). My oldest nephew Tyrell Miles-Brown moves up to fourth, following his 52 point week, thanks to captain Jesus (8) Sanchez (8) Ward-Prowse (7) Kane (6) Martinelli (6) Mitrovic (6) and Zinchenko (6).
Nordin Gharib moves down to fifth, despite a decent 58 point weekly score. His contributions came from captain Salah (16) Peri?ic (13) Haaland (6) Martinelli (6) Zinchenko (6) and Jesus (4). This week’s joint Highest Mover is Simon Sebhat, he moved up seven places from 13th to 6th, thanks to a very decent 63 point week. Doing the business was captain Salah (16) Peri?ic (12) Rashford (10) Ward-Prowse (7) Wilson (6) and Jesus (4).
Also moving up, to seventh despite a modest weekly score of 47 points, is my middle son Jahsiah Tobierrie. This was due to contributions from captain Jesus (8) Salah (8) Sanchez (8) Haaland (6) Kane (6) and Martinelli (6). My coaching partner Francis Norville moves down to eighth, with a disappointing 36 point weekly score, where his only real significant points came from captain Jesus (8) Salah (8) Martinelli (6) and Ramsdale (6).
My oldest son, under his alias Tommy Devito, moves up to ninth, following his 47 point week. This was due to the likes of captain De Bruyne (10) Andreas (8) Gabriel (7) Ward-Prowse (7) and Kane (6). Making up the top ten, on the same points as ninth is Sanjay Beecher due to his decent 54 point weekly score. This was thanks to captain Salah (16) Saliba (14) Kane (6) Martinelli (6) and Jesus (4).
This week’s Highest Scorer is the inconspicuous RMC 666 with an excellent weekly score of 79 points. Doing the business was captain Haaland (12) Rodrigo (13) Peri?ic (12) Salah (8) Toney (8) Maddison (7) Ramsdale (6) and Zinchenko (6). This week’s other joint Highest Mover is my old work colleague Mr James who also moved up seven places from 22nd to 15th due to his very decent weekly score of 64 points. This was thanks to the likes of captain Jesus (8) Rodrigo (13) Salah (8) Toney (8) Maddison (7) Kane (6) Martinelli (6) and Zinchenko (6).
