Fantasy Football S9 WEEK 18 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON NINE

WEEK 18

This game week in the Premier League, Brentford once again proved to be a force at home as they beat Liverpool 3-1. Brighton destroyed Everton away 4-1. Spurs destroyed Crystal Palace away 4-0. Fulham beat Leicester away 1-0. Notts Forest beat Southampton away by the same score. Man Utd eased past Bournemouth at home 3-0. Leeds drew at home with West ham 2-2. Wolves drew at Aston Villa 1-1. Newcastle got a credible 0-0 draw at league leaders Arsenal. Then Chelsea lost at home to Man City 1-0 and followed it up a week later by losing 2-1 at Fulham in the West London derby.

In the ITYIFL, after a few nervous or so week’s, league leader Natalie Stigwood came out fighting and managed to stretch her lead at the top to 57 points, due to a very decent 71 point weekly score. Thanks to Kane (16) Shaw (15) Pope (10) Rashford (8) Trippier (8) with a surprisingly low captain Haaland (4).

My recent former work colleague Abdul Rahman is turning heads in his debut season as he moves up to second (joint second), following his decent 67 point week. This was due to the like of captain Haaland (4) Kane (16) Gross (8) Rashford (8) Trippier (8) Saliba (7) Ramsdale (6) and Havertz (4). Technically joint second but third for the purpose of this, is double champ Danny Milton following a weekly score of 63 points. His contributions came from captain Haaland (4) Kane (16) Shaw (15) Rashford (8) and Trippier (8).

Former champ Jeff Franklin didn’t have the best of week’s as he moved down, but makes up the Champions League places with a somewhat disappointing 43 point weekly score. His only real contributions came from captain Haaland (4) Rashford (8) Trippier (8) Ramsdale (6) and Andreas (5). Moving up to fifth place is this week’s Highest Scorer Sanjay Beecher, with a superb weekly score of 83 points. Doing the business were captain Salah (4) Kane (16) Shaw (15) Leno (14) Rashford (8) Trippier (8) White (7) and Andreas (5).

Up into sixth place, just a point behind fifth is another who is having a great debut season, Philippines native Jean Ninal. She scored a very decent 70 point week, thanks mainly to captain Rashford (16) Kane (16) Shaw (15) and Trippier (8). Down into seventh is Yours Truly. I had a decent weekly score of 58 points, with contributions from captain Rashford (16) Kane (16) Wan-Bissaka (6) and Mount (4). Also moving down in eighth, is Washington DC’s Greg Cabana, who also had a decent 58 point week. This was due to captain Mitrovic (10) Shaw (15) Rashford (8) White (7) and Alexander-Arnold (5).

After a few weeks out, my old football club mate Darren Ahmet has made his way back into the top ten in ninth place. Thanks to a very decent 67 point weekly score, due to the likes of captain Salah (4) Shaw (15) Rashford (8) Mings (7) and Saliba (7). My coaching partner Francis Norville moves down but makes up the top ten by just two points following his modest 43 point week. His only real contributors came from captain Haaland (4) Pope (10) Trippier (8) and Saliba (7).

This week’s Highest Mover was Kool FM’s Pressure X. He moved up four places from 24th to 20th, thanks to a very decent 65 point weekly score. Doing the business were captain Haaland (4) Kane (16) Rashford (8) Trippier (8) Henderson (7) Saliba (7) and Schar (6).

It’s a quick turnaround with this game week starting today. Make it count y’all.
