Fantasy Football S9 WEEK 25 Round Up

I TELL YAH INVITATIONAL LEAGUE

SEASON NINE

WEEK 25

This week in the Premier League, Liverpool recorded a record win between England’s two most successful clubs as they battered Man Utd 7-0 at home. Arsenal came from two goals down at home, to beat Bournemouth 3-2 with literally the last kick of the game. Wolves upset Spurs 1-0 at home. Brighton destroyed West Ham 4-0 at home. Man City beat Newcastle at home 2-0. Brentford made it 12 games unbeaten as they beat Fulham 3-2 at home. Southampton got a much-needed win, as they beat Leicester 1-0 at home. Chelsea also got a much-needed 1-0 home win against Leeds, Aston Villa beat Crystal Palace at home by the same score, and Everton drew at Notts Forest 2-2.

In the ITYIFL, in a low-scoring week which benefits leader Natalie Stigwood, who is managing to keep her neck out in front while the chasing pack battle it out and jockey for positions behind her. However, she scored a modest 36 point weekly score with main contributions from captain Haaland (8) Andreas (8) White (7) and De Bruyne (3).

Seemingly hitting form at the right time is Washington DC’s Greg Cabana, as he moved up to second place due to a very decent 68 point week. Thanks to captain Saka (4) Salah (21) Mitoma (13) Sa (11) White (7) and Haaland (4). Double champ Danny Milton remains in third following his wildcard weekly score of 41 points. Due to captain Haaland (8) Toney (8) Estupinan (6) and Kepa (6).

Moving down to fourth is my recent former work colleague Abdul Rahmen, who will be disappointed with his 31 point week. His only real contributions came from captain Kane (4) Estupinan (6) Ake (5) and Haaland (4). Philippines native Jean Ninal also moves down to fifth, following her 40 point weekly score. Mainly due to captain Martinelli (4) Salah (21) and Haaland (4).

Just a point behind in sixth is Jeff Franklin, due to a very decent weekly score of 57 points. Thanks to captain Saka (4) Mitoma (13) Darwin (12) Ward (11) White (7) and Haaland (4). Remaining in seventh is Yours Truly following my 41 point week. My contributions came from captain Saka (4) Gakpo (14) Robertson (9) and Haaland (4).

Sanjay Beecher remains in eighth with a decent weekly score of 46 points, due to captain Saka (4) Gakpo (14) White (7) Estupinan (6) and Haaland (4). After a few very good weeks, my old football clubmate Oktay Ahmet will be disappointed with his 28 point week, where his only significant points came from captain Saka (4) Toney (8) and Haaland (4).

Timothy Stigwood makes up the top ten and consulates his position with a very decent weekly score of 61 points. Thanks to captain Haaland (8) Salah (21) Ward (11) and Andreas (8). Surprisingly, this week’s Highest Scorer was rock bottom by over 100 points Simon Sebhat, with an amazing 73 point weekly score. Doing the business was mainly captain Salah (42) Toney (8) Alisson (7) and Walker (6).

This week’s Highest Mover was my oldest nephew Tyrell Miles-Brown, who moved up four places from 19th to 15th thanks to his decent 51 point week. Due to contributions from captain Salah (4) Mitoma (13) Toney (8) White (7) Alexander-Arnold (6) and Haaland (4).

We are slowly moving towards the business end of the season. Full steam ahead to week 26, make it count y’all.
